That was it Sillvva, I had never played a bard before and hadn't ever noticed that they had a spells known limit that was different than their spell slot counts.

At 5th level a bard is supposed to be able to pick 4 1st, 3 2nd and 2 3d yet on the character sheets we can only pick 4 1st, 3 2nd and 1 3rd.

ModeratorBy 5th level, you should know a total of 8 spells.
The progression is
Level 1: 4 known (Max level 1)
Level 2: 5 known (Max level 1)
Level 3: 6 known (Max level 2)
Level 4: 7 known (Max level 2)
Level 5: 8 known (Max level 3)
With 4 + 3 + 1, it sounds like you replaced one of your 1st level spells with a 2nd level spell when you leveled up.
