I have created a level 3 character: 1 level in bard, 2 levels in rogue (she used to be an actress). However, this is the second time I'm making the sheet, but the same thing happened: I ended up with skill bonuses way too high. Someone actually copied all of my stats and info and made their own to help, and it wasn't broken like this. I've never played a rogue/bard before, and I do know about the Jack of All trades Feature, but these are so high.
It's clearly not just this sheet, because I even made a new one and it was still like this. Something with my account? I did homebrew a race, and it was my first time, but I can't imagine that affecting it all that much because I didn't add in anything like Arcana, for example.
I only have a 13 intelligence (+1) and somehow, without proficiency, I have +9 to Arcana. Among other mistakes. What do I do?
All of your proficiencies and skills are getting an additional +8. I’m guessing the homebrew race is the culprit. Please post it and a moderator can take a look.
If it's all skills or all skills from a certain stat, it's probably a homebrew issue. If it's attack related, and you have a fighting style, it might be a known bug with fighting styles. For the first, try turning off/removing homebrew items to see if that fixes it. Providing a link to your character sheet (use the URL bar for your link, don't use the 'share' link) will also help identify the problem.
Something is definitely altering your skills to be higher than they should be. You also apparently have a homebrewed feat on your character as well, and considering that it supposedly has some modifier that adjusts your Perception skill, I’m willing to bet it was somehow coded improperly and is affecting all of your skills.
Oh, it was because I had made a homebrew subclass and somehow (I never found out exactly how) it was giving me all these wild bonuses. My advice would be to remake any homebrew subclass or race you have, or do searching within it to find what went wrong. If you don't have anything homebrew, then I'm sorry I don't know how to help :(
This is happening to me, i created a species with species options, and all the proficiencys are out of wack, there's nothing wrong with how i made it, and it's the only homebrewed thing with the character, and it is happening with any character of the homebrewed race. Can anyone help?

I suggest taking this question to the homebrew forum.
It is, however, a pretty safe bet that there's something wrong with how you made it. The homebrew tools are complex and often unintuitive.

Thanks so much! I figured out how to make it work now. Thank you!
Gotta ask, how did you figure it out? I'm having the same issue with a character in my campaign.

This is the character in question, only thing homebrew should be the race.

We just remade the character and it fixed itself. Used all the same stuff but for whatever reason, it works fine now lol
