The clockwork magic feature of the clockwork soul sorcerer says that, when you gain a level in the class, you can replace one of your clockwork spells with an appropriate one from the list, but I can't figure out how to change them. How do I replace my spells?
Did the developers ever fix this bug / lack of support?

Our D&D group has been gaming together regularly since 1980. Played my first D&D game in 1977. Thrilled that my grandnieces have enjoyed playing the game thanks to Stranger Things (I think). I wish I new more about playing online using electronic tools to visualize the action. And I am interested in playing online in organized (or disorganized) play.
Nope. Still not supported. Still need to do the clunky homebrew workaround.

emm, I mean they "fixed" the problem in the 2024 PHB: they took out the part about swapping out Clockwork Spells (and also Psionic Spells, for the Aberrant Sorcery subclass). Problem solved! (I'm not sure I would choose to play a Clockwork Sorcerer now and I have whole a backstory written specifically for that subclass, involving interaction with Mechanus and how that led to her having her powers ).

That option is not currently supported by DDB. There is a workaround however, but it requires a little bit of homebrewing:

Thank you so much! I really appreciate the help!
Happy to help.

nope, you still need to make custom subclass as a example
Still not able on the app I assume? Paid app needs to fix these things.

there is a "fix" for it, you need to do the custom homebrew subclass, this likely not going to be added as a feature for long while.
They're never going to fix it. They already got your money, why would they care?
This issue first came up back with Xanathar's and Divine Soul and still isn't fixed there either.
I wonder if they fill finally implement this with the new PHB to allow swapping out without re-creating the class on my own...
