I made a Treant race and one of the subraces is that when not wearing armor, their AC is set to 16. When making the subrace, I did Set -> Unarmored Armor Class -> Fixed Value 16
However, when checking the character sheet, its adding 16 armor class to the unarmored ac, making the characters ac in the high 20's. Is this a bug, or am i stupid?
Every character is assumed to have an AC of 10 by default. Any addition to that is just the difference from 10 to the desired number, in your case 10+6 = 16.

You need 3 modifiers:
Every character is assumed to have an AC of 10 by default. Any addition to that is just the difference from 10 to the desired number, in your case 10+6 = 16.
