I have a Warlock in my party that has an unusually high damage for their unarmed strike (9 bludgeoning). I've looked through the rules for unarmed strike damage and all I can find is it being 1 + Str Mod. The Warlock's strength is 10, zero modifier, so the damage should be 1 bludgeoning. The attack bonus seems to be calculated correctly at a +3 (Str Mod + Proficiency) but according to the sheet the Warlock will do more damage than the Barbarian.

Barbarian Unarmed Strike
I tried looking through the class and race (they are a halfling) features to see if something was forcing it to a different stat or adding a bonus, but I couldn't find anything.
So far it hasn't been an actual issue in the game since Eldritch Blast will do more damage and the attack modifier is much higher, but I thought it was strange and couldn't find the reason for the high damage for this one character.
Doesn't look like any of the features are doing it so all I can think of is equipment.
It's adding +8 to the unarmed strike which is what the Spell Attack modifier is (before equipment) so - I don't know - at a guess I imagine something is adding the spell attack modifier to unarmed strike. Have they tried unequipping everything one at a time to see if it makes any difference?
Ya'll were right. Removing the Moon-Touched sword took the damage down to 1 bludgeoning where it should be. I recreated the sword from scratch so they still have it and it doesn't mess up the unarmed strike. I'm not sure what was in the old one that was messing with it but it was one of the first items that I modified so I probably screwed something up when making those changes.
Thanks for your help!

Post a link to the character so the Mods can look at it for you.

Link the character itself so a mod can take a look at the problem.

I think the moon touched shirtsword, +2 might have been programmed incorrectly since that is not giving the correct bonuses either.

It’s gotta be either that moon touched sword or the potion of eternal sleep. Those are the only homebrews I saw.
