Hello, Equipting a bag of holding doesn't do anything, it should either increase carrying capacity by 500lbs or have a seporate 'container'. I know the latter isn't a function in dndbeyond yet, so the former should be implemented to make the item useful and make sense as having the items in the players iventory completely throws encombrance mechanics out the window.
I really like the new app and ability to keep track of my character online. But I’ve just run into the same question as above from last October - any update on when the bag of holding/container feature will be available?
Inventory Container Management is on the list of upcoming features for next quarter.
Also remember that these timelines are fungible and this board is intended to show the general prioritization of features, so from time to time efforts will slide back or accelerate forward from their current placement on the schedule.

Increasing carrying capacity wouldn't accurately reflect the rules as it would have weird consequences such as with armor and equipped items.
Containers are on the roadmap.
