While testing out homebrew stuff and trying to understand how Innate Speed works, I tried equipping a Cloak of the Manta Ray at the same time as Mariner's Armor.
It's my understanding that when there are multiple sources of an Innate Speed (swimming in this case), your character sheet should show the highest speed. However, my gnome ends up with a swim speed equal to my walking speed, not the 60ft swim speed granted by the Cloak. This seems like a bug to me.
(Also is there a good guide to how innate and non-innate speeds interact with Bonus - Speed and Speed Reduction modifiers?)

Yeah... thinking about it, I imagine the software has setting an innate (non-walking) speed to "" outweigh setting to a specific value, since "" means making the innate speed equal to the innate walking speed, and it can't know which value will be higher until all the modifiers have been applied. (Might also be why we don't have double-speed or half-speed modifiers yet, since those too would require waiting until all other speed calculations have been done.)
Either way, it's technically a bug.

It’s probably just to do with limitations of the software.
