There's just something about the way the artificer rules are written that my neurodiverse brain does not like. So my question is, I have 3 known infusions on mine. Is it: I can create 3 items using those infusions, and either use them myself, or give to others, OR I can make multiple copies of an infusion, no limit, and hand them out. So if 4 party members don't have dark vision, I can hand out 4 sets of dark vision googles.
I'm 99% sure it's the 1st one, but I've had that 1% bite me in the ass with other things so I can to be sure.
The "Infusions Known" column is the number of infusions you know how to make. Basically like recipes or plans for an infused item. This is somewhat analogous to a wizard's "Spells Known" like having a spell in your spellbook.
The "Infused Items" column is the maximum number of magic items that bear your infusions that you can have simultaneously. This is a hard limit. Attempting to infuse an item when you already are at this limit causes your oldest infused item to no longer be infused, just a mundane item. This is somewhat analogous to a Wizard's "Prepared Spells" the number of spells a wizard has ready to cast on a given day, however, unlike a wizard's spells you don't "cast" an infusion onto an object throughout the adventuring day, the magic is there in the object that you have selected to bear your infusion at the end of a long rest and it's in that object until it is removed.
For instance if your "Infused Items" number is 3 and you have: Enhanced Defense on a shield, Enhanced Weapon on a sword, and Replicate Magic Item: Bag of Holding on a bag (in that order) and your next long rest you want to change things up to put Mind Sharpener on someone's Robes the shield with (Enhanced Defense) loses it's magic and becomes the mundane shield it was before it was infused. If you wanted to infuse a 2nd item on that rest then the sword would lose its magic, then the bag, etc.
Unclevertitle is correct, and it's also worth pointing out that the Infuse Item class feature does specifically say that "each of your infusions can be in only one object at a time", meaning that you can't make multiple copies of the same one even within the set limit of infused items.

Thanks to you Infusions Known = Your Recipe Book This is just the list of infusions you've learned (like a wizard's spells known). Example: If you know 3 infusions, you can pick from those 3 when making magic items. Infused Items = Your Active Magic Item Slots This is your hard cap on how many infused items can exist at once.If your limit is 3, you can have 3 magic items active (e.g., a +1 sword, goggles of night, and mind sharpener robes). Trying to make a 4th? Your oldest infusion instantly fizzles (item reverts to normal). Can You Duplicate the Same Infusion? No, unless the infusion specifically allows it.Most infusions (like Enhanced Weapon) can only be on one item at a time.Exception: Replicate Magic Item lets you pick different items (e.g., Bag of Holding + Cloak of Elvenkind), but you still can’t make two Bags unless you take the infusion twice. If you infuse Goggles of Night, you get one pair. That’s it.Want goggles for 4 party members? Too bad—you’d need to burn all infusion slots on goggles (and even then, you’re capped at your Infused Items limit).
Sharing is allowed—give infused items to allies. No mass production—you can’t spam copies of the same infusion (unless the infusion says so). Respec on long rests—move infusions around (e.g., swap +1 sword to +1 armor).Your initial 99% hunch was right. The rules are strict to prevent infinite magic item cheese. If you really want to break this, talk to your DM—but RAW, it’s a hard no.

It's the 1st one.
