Had a little more time to do some digging and this is what I was thinking about before:
Magic Item Adept
When you reach 10th level, you achieve a profound understanding of how to use and make magic items:
You can attune to up to four magic items at once.
If you craft a magic item with a rarity of common or uncommon, it takes you a quarter of the normal time, and it costs you half as much of the usual gold.
So while anyone with spellcasting ability can craft magic items, starting at level 10 the Artifacer can do it more efficiently.
Are you saying that replicate magical item dose not make permanent magic items?
Not in the same sense as items found in the world anyway.
They are still made by an infusion. There isn't a time limit for how long the infusion lasts, but there are several things that can cause the infusion to end. So they are not "permanent" magic items, no.
and just for the record . They take up a "infusion per day" slot. (i.e. at lv 2 you know 4 and have 2 per day.) so if you had Alchemy Jug, and Goggles of Night created/made, that means you used your 2 up for the day. So you couldn't also have enahnced arcane infusion-because you don't have 3 per day even if you know all 4 recipes.
So they're not perminant items-they are infused items lasting only as long as your infusion is commited.
I was wondering if an Artificer can create a Prosthetic Limb if a party member looses one. It's a wonderous item that's common. Question answered. At level 10.

They can craft it at lower levels. Level 10 just makes it faster and cheaper to do it.
I was thinking that an artificer can use their known infusions as formula for crafting. You still need the exotic material and the gold and time to craft but you already know how to make the item. This will be easy to do with replicate magic item but you will need homebrew for the regular infusions like returning weapon.
I was thinking of an Artificer build that uses artificial limbs because he has twitches, after an electrical accident. And vows to become that master of all things electric.

Can artificers craft permanent versions of the items they replicate with their infusions?
Given the time, resources, and money, yes. But so can anyone else. I believe they get bonuses to crafting at higher levels.
Basically this. There are a couple versions of the craft magical item downtime in DMG and XGtE.
