I figured out a temporary work-around and gave myself the "martial adept" feat which does let me pick from a list of maneuvers that are then filed under feat abilities.
I then just declined to select the second option.
So practical upshot I have a maneuver I can select on my sheet which I can use. Good.
But this feels like I'm gaming the system, taking half a feat to trigger the right menu option.
I'd dearly love to know how I'm supposed to do this "properly".
It would be useful to know some details. I can create a character and give them Superior Technique. It shows up in the listing under Features And Traits. Now, if you are talking about where you select the specific maneuver... Yeah. That I can't find.

I just created one with Superior Technique also, but I see what Suffolk is saying. It says you learn a maneuver, but nowhere does DnD Beyond let you actually CHOOSE the maneuver, that I am seeing. So you have a maneuver, but never get to choose one or use it with the fighting style. Suffolk has figured out how to get around this, but DnD Beyond doesn't have the option with the fighting style.
I was discussing this on a different forum in DDB related to Tasha's Bugs and apparently the work around is to homebrew a custom feat but call it "fighting style battle maneuvers" or whatever. In the character sheet settings there is apparently the option to increase the number of feats a character can take, so bump it up by one so you don't loose out as you level up. Then have the custom feat copy Martial Adept but only give it a single maneuver option.
And Ta-da! One background fighting style crudely but functionally implemented.
And if you think that sounds complicated just wait until you hear the hoops you have to jump through to get a clockwork soul sorceror working correctly!
This still isn't working, apparently. I ran into this issue today and came across this thread when searching for a solution. Funnily enough I was accessing this content after joining a campaign with Tasha's available, and this seems like an incentive not to purchase for myself since this and other features still aren't implemented. Fortunately I have a hard copy and usually play in person anyway.
Only recently joined DND Beyond and putting together my first character I took a 3 level dip in fighter (echo knight)
For fighting style I chose Superior Technique - and it tells me about superiority dice and selecting one of the battlemasters maneuver abilities.
The problem is I don't see where in the editor I should add the ability from or even what my options are.
So nubie question: where is it?

I heard on TreantMonk's channel today that clockwork soul sorcerers extra magic isn't implemented in D&D Beyond yet.
Is this another example of "it isn't ready yet?"
Almost a week later, and 60 views deep I am none the wiser to my original question.
Did I like find the one spot on the entire Internet where no-one talks to each other?

I created and published a custom feat to help alleviate this issue. It is available here.
You can see an example of what this would look like in your character sheet alongside the Martial Adept feat.

Yeah, this issue still isn't fixed @dndbeyond
Still not fixed @dndbeyond
@-ing them here is unlikely to get their attention. The appropriate place to communicate something like this is in the Bugs & Support forum.
