Please Confirm: A level 10 Rogue should never multiclass when hitting level 11. Reliable Talent is too good. It does not matter if the fighter dip would have significant benefits, wait until level 13.
I can go into more detail, but that is the core of it really, lol.
13th level is 7d6 sneak attack and a subclass feature...
might be worth seriously considering mono class rogue, at higher levels they are interesting

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Multiclassing a Rogue is more a flavour thing. They have a decent amount of features, the end cap stuff is usually really decent, and you lose Sneak Attack.
I suppose MC'ing into a Lore Bard is OK mechanically, if you're aiming to focus more on skills and utility.
MC'ing into Shadow Monk is flavorful, and the bonus action teleport with advantage to next attack offers nifty synergy.
But overall, I feel Rogues tend to fare better without multiclassing.
Although this may be biased as I'm usually not the biggest fan of multiclassing. With exception of Sorcadin (and anything Paladin really, they're such a mary-sue class and I--- *ahem* anyway) I find you lose more than you gain.

I figured that would be the response. I tend not to multiclass either, but then, I mostly play casters. It is good to know that initial thought was sound. :)

That said, there is nothing inherently wrong with multiclassing Rogues either. Depending on whether or not you will actually go all the way to 20 you can have some very good builds. Three to five levels of Gloom Stalker give you a lot of fun stuff, for example.
