So i am rather new to the D&D universe but I have fallen in love with this whole role-playing experience as a play and as a DM for my family. I have so many ideas that i have been trying to incorporate into the game with our homebrew campaigns we are doing. one of which is a Custom Summoner Subclass for a Sorcerer. Im not the greatest at the whole home brew thing yet but i wanted some seasoned people's opinions for this. i made custom actions to try and bring my idea to life. Any and all feedback or ideas from you all would be greatly appreciated. Don't hold back I'd like to hear positive and negative on this.
Custom Actions
Forge Contract
Edit
Attack/Save:
CHA
Forge a contract with a target within range. Target must make a charisma saving throw versus your spell save DC. You can spend additional Sorcery Spell Slots to add 1d4 to the spell save.
If target succeeds in the saving throw nothing happens.
If target fails the saving throw, you now have a contract with that creature. They will forever exist in an alternate plane where your contracts reside until you summon them. You can have a number of Contracts equal to your Sorcerer level.
During a long rest you may release a contract to have an open slot for a new contract. If you forge a contract with no open slots nothing happens.
Beings that you form a contract with cannot be greater than 1/4 your sorcerer level in Challenge Tier. You can use additional Sorcery Slots to try and form a contract beyond these criteria by using an additional level 1 Slot for per challenge level. A level 2 slot counts for 2 levels and so on.

Summon Contract
Edit
Casting Time:
1 Action
As an action you can summon one of your contracts to your aid for 1 hour. You must spend spell slots equal to the challenge tier of the contract to successfully summon them. If a contract has a challenge tier of 5 you must use an equivalent amount of spell slots that add up to 5 to summon them.
