Hey has anyone actually heard any wotc announcement about fixing the issue with clockwork soul that makes it so the automatic spells aren't able to be changed like they're supposed to? I know a while ago there was a forum about how they have to fix it but I'm just wondering if anyone has an update for that.
Typically issues like this are considered super low priority because of how easy the work-around is to implement. Just make a homebrew copy of the subclass and swap the spell in it, save, and you're set.

I'm probably laughing.
It is apparently so hard to program Aberrant Mind and Clockwork Soul spell-swapping into dndbeyond they had to remake the game without it rather than implement it.
You can create a homebrew and edit the feature to change the spells to what you want. Or have it let you pick the spell you want and easily change / make new choice every time you go into the builder to level up. I made a video.

I was just hoping to not have to do that every time I change a spell but I guess that's a fair point.
