I have a couple things I want to say the same, like being human and for a feat taking weapon master (rapier, scimitar, short sword, longsword) and the stats are 8,15,13,10,10 and 16. I put the bonus from weapon master is to dex and I boosted dex an cha. Plz inform me if I calculated my stats wrong
Assuming you are doing point buy, you are 2pts short. Those stats are also not standard array, so i guess either you rolled stats or you are 2 short on point buy. If you are point buy, i would recommend using those two points in Constitution to raise it to a 14.
If you don't want to worry about multiclassing:
Go storm sorcerer as your origin and try to get bracers of defense as quickly as possible. When combined with mage armor this will make your AC 17 (13+2dex+2BoD) and the ability to use shield to push it to 22 AC in a pinch.
Storm sorcerer is one of the OG attempts at melee sorcerer, and its SCAG, so to me its an obvious pick. As you level you will be able to booming blade, then bonus action (with quickened spell) thunderwave to push the target back, thus forcing them to run forward and trigger the booming blade explosion. At lvl6, whenever you cast a lightning or thunder spell with a spell slot, you deal aoe damage to targets of your choice, so its all about getting in the sweet spot and blasting then retreating to safety. The mobile feat will also help with this.
Storm is defintely SCAG, p 137. I looked it up in my physical copy just to make sure I didn't get confused on DDB.
That said, I might strongly consider dragon over storm. As a vuman, using a feat for weapon profs, your armor is going to be strongly restricted. You'll have to either burn a precious spell for mage armor or go nekkid. I'd also dump longsword for a finesse weapon since you'll not be able to do much with the longsword using 8 str.
EDIT: With point buy and weapon master putting a point into dex, vuman, and a point in dex/cha my final stats are:
Any time an unfathomably powerful entity sweeps in and offers godlike rewards in return for just a few teensy favors, it’s a scam. Unless it’s me. I’d never lie to you, reader dearest.
The free 'mage armor' from Draconic is pretty nice as a mono-class build, but once you get a couple levels under your belt its not too expensive to use the spell Mage armor, though it DOES cut into your spells known. Personally, I'd actually go two levels in fighter initially for the proficiencies and action surge. This would let you have the option of going medium or heavy armor but would put you at one spell level behind for encounters. I don't find this to be a particularly devastating handicap when looking at what you can get up to with action surge, but it isn't particularly friendly to newer players.
The main reason I like Storm sorc for a melee build is that it A) does more damage, B) has tools to get out of melee when you need to. Everyone can use Misty Step to get out, but a Storm Sorc can use Tempestuous Magic to cast a combat relevant spell and then use their normal movement to reposition without worrying about attacks of opportunity. The additional innate defenses of Draconic Sorcerer are nothing to sneeze at, but taking magic initiate to get a free cast of mage armor is also an option (again, not my personal preference, but an option).
Red dragon helps with your greenflame blade though too, and other useful close range fire based spells.
As you state though, MC solves a /lot/ of problems, especially if you really want to be cheesy and go hexblade like everyone else and their brother.

My guess would be not strong. It's got no defensive features at all, and sorcerers are pretty squishy in general.

You should probably consider raising your dexterity fairly soon to increase your AC value. There are several buff spells that do not rely on Charisma, so that is one way to go about it. You should also consider Warcaster and Mobile as feats. Mobile will let you get out of melee when you need to.
Early on, you will want to focus on defense, Absorb Elements and Shield will be important for your survivability. Sleep is a solid spell between the levels of 1 and 3 but should be replaced no later than level 5 in most cases. Once you get level 3, you get access to Misty Step and Mirror Image, both of which will help you reposition and defend yourself; Blur is an option at this level, but requires your concentration. If it wasn't AL, you could potentially get Shadow Blade, but that is a xanathar spell. Haste is a popular option once you get level 5, as it will allow you to get a second attack in and give you some extra defense. Access to 3rd level spells also gives you access to Counterspell and Fly. Counterspell is an amazing spell that I honestly can't think of a reason not to take it, and Fly will GREATLY improve your survivability as it will mean that you can make yourself immune to melee-only enemies which are quite prevalent throughout a campaign/session. At level 7 you get 4ths and you will want to look at Greater Invisibility and Polymorph; GI is a very nice offensive/defensive spell and Polymorph is amazingly utilitarian (depending on your constitution saving throws it can also be a great boon to melee sorcs). 5th level spells aren't amazing imo for melee sorc.. most of the spells I'd normally recommend in that tier are from xanathars. You can get Animate objects for some impressive bonus action damage, and Wall of Stone can separate enemies on the battlefield to make it less likely you will get swarmed (it can also make you a castle if you have enough time to repeatedly cast it). 6th level spells get Arcane Gate and Globe of Invulnerability, maybe Scatter for redeploying your team to a better situation; Arcane Gate is a personal favorite of mine, but that might be due to table rules (I like holding the spell to cast as a reaction when someone is running at me to deposit them 500ft in the air somewhere else, or to return that rock the giant so graciously tossed my way); globe of invulnerability is really quite good as it nullifies most spells you encounter (you and your allies can cluster with no fear of enemy fireballs). 7ths don't have much for melee, maybe Crown of Stars or Plane Shift (Plane Shift is an amazing "emergency exit" spell that doubles as a permanent banish). 8ths... Maybe power word stun? You will probably have a decent Save DC by this point. And for 9ths Wish is a perennial favorite, but these spells are all great (other than Weird, which you don't have access to as a sorc)
TL;DR version
1st: Absorb elements, Shield, Sleep (Get rid of sleep by lvl5)
2nd: Misty Step, Mirror Image, Blur
3rd: Haste, Counterspell Fly
4th: Greater Invisibility, Polymorph
5th: Animate Objects, Wall of Stone
6th: Arcane Gate, Globe of Invulnerability, Scatter
7th: Crown of Stars, Plane Shift
8th: Power word Stun
9th: Wish
That is 20 spells, if you want to trim it to a list I'd remove Sleep (after lvl5 it is pretty lackluster), Blur (Greater invisibility does this and more), Fly (once you get your lvl14 Dragon Wings you don't need it), Animate Objects (It doesn't do magical slashing, so it falls off later on) and Crown of Stars (It is a ranged spell attack, so if you are stuck in melee its at disadvantage).
Overall that is a somewhat viable sorc list, though usually I like a few more multi-purpose spells.
Definitely dex as a priority because you'll be relying on hitting things with a weapon instead of blasting things with spells. You're going to want to choose spells that enhance your ability to hit things with sharp things. The two SCAG melee cantrips are given; must haves. You don't get a true multi-attack as a straight sorc (more on this in a second), so you need to scale those hits as much as possible and the cantrips will do that for you. Greenflame blade will be your go-to (because fire damage) unless you plan to move and may have an opportunity to proc booming blade. Take a ranged cantrip because sometimes you're not going to be in range to make a melee attack and are unable to move into melee range to do so. I prefer ray of frost (basic rules) because imo slow > slightly extra damage, but ymmv. Grab lightning lure (SCAG) to drag things closer to you with your last cantrip.
For your spells, remember, you are hitting soft things with sharp things. Pick spells that help you do that or keep them from doing the same back to you. Also, look for things that are generally non conc (you will have go-to conc spells), and preferrably buffs in nature so you don't have to worry about your lower charisma roll.
For first level spells since you are dragon magic, shield is the only non-negotiable must have. Thunderwave (basic rules) is my second pick. That's my character at level 1.
Level 2, I might take jump (basic rules) to help myself position, but I'm not a huge fan of this spell and doubt I will keep it for long. Mostly though, my 1st level spell slots are reserved for shield.
At level 3, I get access to second level spells. You have to be AL legal so you're pretty much boned. No Shadowblade (XgtE) for you. It's an excellent damage buff, but unless you can get some kind of certificate or something for it, you can't have that AND SCAG cantrips. So, without Shadowblade, I'm taking Misty Step (basic rules) and Blur (basic rules). Metamagic options are pretty much pre-determined: quicken and twin. With quicken, you can now get in two melee cantrips in a round for the cost of sorc points. It's not a true multi-attack, but it's there if you need and want it.
At level 4, I get another 2nd level spell. I'm taking Cloud of Daggers PHB). I can't run this AND blur at the same time, so I have to pick my situations. I also get another cantrip. I like Prestidigitation or Minor Illusion, it's not super relevant. Pick what you like. ASI, dex. You want the improved AC and to hit/damage.
At level 5, I get third level spells. If I haven't already, I am ditching Jump for 2nd level Mirror Image (basic rules). No conc defensive spell with duration? Yes please! I like haste (basic rules) here as a way to get another melee attack, and it gives me an AC bonus. I'm also taking Counterspell (basic rules). Sometimes you just need to have it. I have to drop a spell here, so Thunderwave has to go. Those spell slots are mostly reserved for Shield anyways.
That should be enough of a primer for now on how I'd go about building an AL legal melee dragon sorc.

I am trying my best to not go into paladin or warlock, if I feel like I am underpowered I might go one level hexblade but I’m trying to avoid it
Also I have a hexblade also in the works
