so, an warlock gains their power from an powerful extraplanar entity who teaches them the ways of magic, and they gain the abillity to summon almost anyweapon. Would this include weapons that, strictly speaking, do not exist? for instance, could an warlock from farun decide to conjure forth an double bladed scimitar, could or could they possibly create pistols and muskets in worlds where gunpowder has yet to be invented but where atrillerist artificers are not entirlely unheard of? (ignoring the fact that pistols and muskets are ranged martial weapons who thus cannot be conjured by an blade warlock). Archfey and great old one patrons often have an diffrent view of time compared to mortals, so getting a weapon from the future would not exactly be a problem, as would getting weapons from another world, correct?

i am soup, with too many ideas (all of them very spicy) who has made sufficient homebrew material and character to last an thousand human lifetimes
I think this is all DM dependant, each would adjudicate it differently.
Personally I think I's keep it you can only summon weapon forms your character is aware of, so if muskets are a thing int eh game world (and you have the relevant invocations to allow ranged weapons to be summoned) then you could summon a musket. I wouldn't allow modern weapons I'd cap it as max 1850 level technology unless the game world is modern day ro futuristic.
I might even go so far as to say they need to invest int he Weapon Master feat in order to summon a weapon not listed in the PHB.
That said......one thing I've toyed with as a character is a warlock pirate that has wands that look like flintlock pistols and when he casts eldritch blast the "pistol" fires with a loud bang and puff of smoke and sends a ball of force energy flying towards the target so there could be other ways of gettign the desired image/effects you are after.
As for Patrons having a different concept of time, that could get into a whole converasation on philosphy and the cocnept of free will, but I think most realms are more a case of time flowing at different speds, so 1 month in the Feywild may only be an hour in the material world or vice versa, or soem where like the astral plane where time does not pass at all, so whilst a patron may have a more complete understanding of the flow of time on different planes of existance they do not see the future...but again..that said...I do like the idea of a NPC/patron using wish spells to travel back in time to try and change events, giving their warlock a luck point or divination wizard portent dice as an extra boon or some foreknowledge of events to come.

well yes but the thing about the feywild is it works both ways right, sometimes one month in the feywild is one day in the real world, sometimes an month in the real world is an day in the feywild, sometimes time seems to move backwards and forwards, and of course nobody would ever allow anything stronger than a musket, that is just common sense since the musket and postols are the only firearms with an gold cost for a reason, becuase they are the only balanced firearms and the only that can fall in the hands of players without the game becoming extremely unbalanced as a result thanks to their slow reload times and their several times shorter range compared to the longbow
yeah the pistol and musket would probably be in the long run be severly outmatched by eldrich blast, and reflavouring eldrich blast is always fun so what the heck why not, might as well go the artillerist artificer route of "cant use actiual guns so this advanced cantrip will have to do"
also even if the feywild is not as intertwined with time as i tought, these are archfey you are binding yourself to, entities whose motives and powers are impossible for mortals to comprehend, walking plot devices will are sorts of strange magic they weild to their incrutible ends, would it be so outlandish to think that something akin to a fairy godmother or an minor deity could alter or affect time to some capacity?
oh yeah and techincally the invocation does not even let you use firearms, oof

I think there is soemthing int he lore of the Forgotten Realms setting that goes into detail about Gods and Time but cant for the life of me find it.....
Ir wounld'nt be inconcievable for Gods or Patrons to know the future or perform time shifting abilits such as the Sphinx' lair actions (pg280 of the Monster Manual) but I would imagine there is some sort of cosmic embargo on actually contacting your followoers in the past to try and change events or seeing the future and trying to maniupulate events to change the outcome. This type of manipulation gets complicated real quick but I think the patron you really want is Q from Star Trrek TNG (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBwoEXlTph0)
