Outside of the character sheet, is there a way to see other player's private homebrew when you are in the same campaign? Specifically, is there any way to pull up the spell, magic item, etc in its own page? And is there anyway for players to see private homebrew monsters?
I have a campaign set up here, that actually is only used by myself and my "backup DM" (who is also a player) The other players don't have DDB accounts, or if they do don't use DDB for their character sheets. I use the private DM notes to prep for the adventure, creating links to random encounters, monsters I'm adding to "dungeons" in the adventure, etc. My backup DM has created some homebrew magic items the part now has in its possession, and I'l like to be able to link to those descriptions so I know what they do. I can add them to the character I have in the campaign, but I can't figure out another way to see them.
Similarly, I have homebrewed some monsters for use in the campaign, but I have not published them. Is there a way for my "backup DM" to see them? There are weeks when he runs the table because I am away, and I think that would be helpful.
To see that information they would have to go to their "Homebrew Collection" and see the monsters and what not. As long as you have the Master Tier, your private homebrew should show up in their collection if I understand the sharing correctly. None of my players or DM for my second group have made homebrew so I haven't been able to test it first hand if that is the case.
*Edit* - Ok so I was wrong, the other DM for my groups homebrewed an amulet that I have on my bard and can find when adding items, but it is not in my homebrew collection which I had assumed originally that it would. That seems like the sharing function is not working for private homebrew as it should be when having the Master Tier, unless I misunderstood how it works.
A Master Tier sub is not needed to share private homebrew items within a campaign, staff have been clear about that. And, the sharing certainly works in the sense that items are available from the character sheet (spells, magic items, etc.) I think the issue is that there's not a "good" place to see these things anywhere else: They aren't official content, so they won't show up in the official lists (unlike spells, items, etc. from official content that has beens shared), they aren't published homebrew, so they won't show up there, and they aren't part of a compendium. But I was hoping maybe I was missing something and there was a way to see them.
Except for monsters. For some bizarre reason, private homebrewed monsters can't be seen by anyone other than the creator, even with content sharing on.

You can see it as a player if you enable Homebrew and then add the monster to the character sheet under extras. in addition if you send them a link to the homebrew monster they can see it.

Thank you so much! Sending the player the link to the sidekicks homebrew monsters allowed him to see them! I wish they would have this information on the site instead of implying the players could somehow access things directly.

Players are not supposed to see the monsters because they are generally enemies and nobody wants spoilers. But yes, adding them to extras is the trick.
Sending the link is what worked for using Beyond20 and Roll20. Adding them into the extras on the character sheet seems like an odd way to do it and didn't help at all. My challenge here is the verbiage on D&D Beyond implies they are seeable. I understand about usually not wanting to spoil surprises but there is a collection feature and the wording seems to imply that by taking them out of the collection feature players couldn't see them.
So, what would be nice is if any monsters in my collection my players could view through their own homebrew page and anything I didn't want them to see I could uncheck the collection box and it would be hidden.

I can’t speak to Roll20 or Beyond20 because I’ve never used them. If a portion of the DDB character sheet doesn’t work with those other companies products that sounds like an issue on their end.
The “Extras” section is the portion of the character sheet specifically for “monsters” that the Characters have, like a Mounts, Wizards’ and Warlocks’ Familiars, the Rangers’ Animal Companions, the Artificers’ Steel Defenders or Homunculi, and Zombies for Characters who can create them. Those are typically the only monsters that Characters have any control over, so typically the only ones they should need access to. But regardless of the monster, if they have controls over it, that’s the part of the character sheet specifically designed and dedicated to placing them under the players’ control. It’s an inventory of Monsters just like the “Equipment” section is an inventory of Items. If the part of the Character Sheet specifically for that application seems strange I don’t know what to tell you.
As to the verbiage, Players do have access to all of your homebrews. If you create an unpublished Magic Item or Spell, the only way they could access that item is through the character sheet. They cannot see them any other way. The monsters work exactly the same. The Players don’t have access to your unpublished homebrew for other characters if they’re not in a campaign with you. And if they gain access to someone else’s unpublished homebrew from another campaign, they don’t get it in your campaign either unless that player is in it too. It’s a design feature.
I’m not trying to say that you’re wrong or anything. I’m not arguing. I’m just explaining how it’s set up and why it’s set up the way it is. If you want DDB to change things, they do have a forum thread for suggestions. You could leave your requests for them there.
Anyway, it seems you figured out a solution. I’m glad it worked out for you. Good luck with your campaign.
So I found that everything except for monsters they can access from their character sheet by just managing there inventory, spells or other. But usually private monsters aren't viewable at all. The way I found to get around that is to make an item that has a link to your homebrew monster. In fact that's how you can have everyone view any of your homebrew in a separate page is by simply making a custom item with a link to your homebrew.
