DnD Beyond needs another homebrew checkbox, one that would limit homebrew content for the characters in the DM's campaign to the DM's homebrew content only rather than allowing all and any homebrew.
Having a Campaign-Specific homebrew collection is what we need. So that for a given campaign, they can add items that they want to include in the list, but in another campaign they can add a different set of items. Additional buttons for "Copy these items to another campaign" etc, but I don't want to start with every item and have to go through and turn them all off again when I start a new campaign.
Any items that are not actively in your collection will not populate to your campaigns. If you look at each homebrew there is a button labeled [REMOVE FROM COLLECTION] that you can click. It won’t delete that homebrew, it will still exist in your creations, just not be part of your active collection. You can move stuff freely in and out of your collection as you wish. If you do it mid session, all your players we’d do is refresh the browser tab their sheet is on and it will update to the new list in the collection.
So you can keep something out, add it to the collection mid session, your player(s) can add it to their character sheet(s), and then you can remove it from your collection again. It will remain on the sheet(s) for whichever character(s) are using that homebrew, but no longer be available for anyone else to add it anymore.

This is a little helpful to know, but doesn't really fix what people want from the features.

No, it doesn’t fix it at all, and I wish there was a way to blacklist/whitelist different ho for different campaigns too, but it is what we have for now and I just figured I’d share.

The ability for the DM to go through a checklist of their homebrew and enable/disable it line by line per campaign would be nice, too.
