Just a little thing I was thinking of there, it would be nice as a DM to add NPCs to the campaign and to assign them a creature stat block, such as Evoker for the friendly wizard or Bullette for the trained wagon puller.
That way me and my PCs could see their quickly for moments we need them

I agree that it would be nice to have a dedicated NPC section. I think you can do what you want (or close to it) already by using tool tips in the notes sections of the current campaign tools. Like this: Selina, priest of Pelor: Priest
EDIT: you can do something similar with homebrew NPCs, using the link tools in the editor. Last I knew, players couldn't see homebrew monsters, though. Unless that has been fixed??? If I have time later I'll experiment and see if this has changed and get back to you.
