It would be nice to be able to share Adventure Content in a campaign at the same level of granularity as Purchase Options. I would like to be able to turn on specific adventure content such as spells and magic items as encountered without revealing the entire adventure details.
What you describe in your second sentence is actually already possible, although it is not obvious. When you turn "off" a source (an option you access by clicking on the Content Management button on the campaign page), you are only turning off access to the compendium (adventure), not to character options.
I would, however, like to see more granular options so that, for example, I could turn off character options from Ravnica, or the monstrous races from Volos for certain campaigns.
