So not sure if this is a feature, bug, or something inbetween.
Alchemist get Acid arrow at level 2 spells. Which is neat. But on the spell list it shows both Acid Arrow and Melf's Acidi Arrow. Mechanically they are the same. But its really quite annoying that both show up on the list at the same time. There isn't much of a point and it feels really clunky and just means I scroll over the same thing and clutters each spell level by showing it upcast twice.
Is there any way to remove one iterations of the spell from the known list. Or could we somehow get the option to do so? I'd prefer to have the generic acid arrow over the Named version. Since there isn't a difference. But functionally doesn't matter much.
but is there any way to remove it so its not cluttering multiple levels of spells? Particularly once I start customizing my spells with fluff and such. I either end up with it twice at multiple levels; or i end up with a customized one and an ignored one, still cluttering levels 2-5
Howdy

Just would like one gone.
Can confirm.
The official Artificer does specify that it gives you access to Melf's Acid Arrow and not Acid arrow, however like OP said, you do get both spells.

Any feature that grants you access to a named spell also grants you access to the unnamed, basic rules version.
This is so if someone buys just Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, they don't have an artificer with missing spells when the spells are freely available.

Which makes sense.

There isn't currently a way to filter out SRD spells if you have access to the non-SRD versions, no.
