If you host the image somewhere, you can enter the image using the "Insert/edit image" button in the forum post toolbar. My preferred method is using Imgur, then copying the image address and pasting it into the "Source" box for the insert/edit image box that appears when you click the button.
Be sure to be viewing the forum in a wide ("landscape") view if using a mobile device or tablet. The toolbar in the editor window will not appear if the view is too narrow.
Note that it must be a link that goes to the image file and not to a site that will display the image for you; called a direct link in many image hosting sites. Most often, this means the link will end with .png, .jpg, .gif, or the like. It doesn't always have to have that format as long as an image and not a web page is the result.

Hi,
I know I can link a picture I have in Google Docs, however, it doesn't seem to show unless you click the link?
Are there any ways I can add Illustrations to my forum posts without having to click links?
Thanks!

Images hosted on Google don’t work for some reason, www.Imgur.con seems to be the go-to ‘round here.
