I can see they've locked down the feedback forum for the encounter builder but I'm hoping my issue is something simple I've missed and not an actual bug.
I have a campaign with three players in it. The first time I used the encounter builder everything was fine. I went back the next day to build a new encounter because they levelled up and now the campaign, in the encounter builder, shows as having 6 players. When I go into "Manage Characters" it shows the 3 players with their names and portraits and 3 characters that are blank except for a drop down menu to select their level. I can't see any way to delete these extra characters. The encounter builder also calculates the difficulty as if there are 6 characters.
If I go into my campaign, it shows I only have 3 characters.
Is this a known issue and is there a way to fix it that I'm not seeing?
I don’t know why the 3 “blank” characters showed up randomly. The option to add such characters is there for DMs who need to add characters not in the campaign for calculations. I add one of these to take into account a sidekick in the pantry. Other DMs might need to do so because one of their players doesn’t use DDB.
I can can confirm that there is no obvious way to remove the “blank” characters. What I did find that works, though is, after clicking on “Manage Characters”, to tap; click on the “Select Preset” drop-down and choose a different campaign (or one of the X level Y presents). Then do the same and choose the campaign you want to create the encounter for. This cleared the extra character from the calculations for me.

Can you try switching the campaign to a different preset and back to the campaign with your three players?

Thanks guys that sorted it.
I know it's in beta but what a bizarre design choice to not have a remove option on every character.
