I do a lot of theory crafting for characters so I am making new ones and reworking concept characters a lot. With this comes changing out the equipment they have. I noticed today that if I am on the equipment tab of the creator, nothing happens if I click any button on a piece of equipment. I can't wear/not wear it, remove it, or attune/unattune it. I have tried two different browsers on two different computers as well as private windows in Edge and Brave. If I go to my character sheet and then inventory I can do all of those things there so it is just on the equipment tab in the creator. Just wanted to let someone know.
Edited for more details: The Equipment page of the Character Builder, Current Inventory section, any of the buttons on individual items: Use, In Use, Wield, Wielding, Wear, Wearing, Remove Item, Attune, etc.
This seems to be due to some very recent changes, probably to the site web code.
At least the functionality works in the character sheet.
Same problem. I can add new equipment to my inventory but I can’t remove / equip / un-equip anything. Everything else seems to work just not equipment.
Same here - I'm unable to "Use" / "Weild" / "Equip" things. I've been making characters all week and it was working earlier this week. I noticed today I'm unable to equip anything. I looked in the javascript console and there's an error everytime I try to equip something:
```
vendors~characterTools.bundle.84ed46d355e8a512f6e8.min.js:2 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'handleEquip') at onEquip (characterTools.bundle.90dccd7711e5f1f6230d.min.js:1)...
Hey everyone, we are diligently working on something even bigger than containers for your inventory and in the process we broke something! We are soooooo sorry! please know that a fix is coming about 30 Minutes from now so 21:45 ish GMT
Thanks for posting the javascript console error! I bet that's what made the difference.
Wha-- hold on, you can't just say "something even bigger than containers" and then run off.
