When I log in to DnDBeyond with my twitch account using my email I see all my purchased content and I also see my DnDBeyond username and when I check my linked twitch account I see it is correctly linked and I see my twitch user name.
However if I login the same way but use my twitch user name I don't see any of my purchased content in dndbeyond and my dndbeyond username is set to something else.
So I have one twitch account where I can successfully login to twitch using my email or username but in DnDbeyond these seem to login to two separate accounts even though they both point to the same single twitch account. I am worried about losing the content I have paid for. Can you please check this out for me?
I made a DnD Beyond account on my Kindle Fire HDX, then purchased some content. Everything seemed fine until I tried to sign in on my desktop. Now I seemingly have two accounts with the credentials, with two different display names and only the account on my Kindle has my purchased content/characters... Help would be appreciated.
I had a look and can see two separate Twitch accounts registered against your email address, each with a D&D Beyond account attached. I shall PM you further info.
Hey, I'm pretty sure I'm experiencing the same issue.
I logged in as usual but I was prompted to make a new username and lost everything attached to my old account. The original account is koritsune and the new one is koritsune2.
Had a ddb account with the display name CrocoRabbit, that has my content, but (maybe after I connected to the app?) I am logged in to an account with the display name User_101281993. Please help.
If a new account has been created for the app, you need to log out from twitch.tv, and then access again, not with your displayed nickname, but with the username.
The problem was that I had multiple twitch accounts on the same email, so when I connect to ddb with the alternative twitch username a new ddb account is created and I have no access to my content. Issue was resolved and my characters are back where they were :)
im also having this same issue was auto logged for so long when it finally told me to log into my twitch account to sign in i cant see any of my purchased content or characters:(
I am having the same issue. I'm logging into dndbeyond (via twitch) on a new laptop and it seems to log in to a different account (not the one with all my characters on it!). Please can you help me resolve this!

My friend is having the same problem. Her Twitch is DrethBlue and it made her link to a new account with DrethBlue1 as the name now she can't access her characters.

Hi there Keshan,
I'll send you a PM, as I need to discuss account names etc.

I have a similar problem.
I seem to have started my initial DnDbeyond account with a seperate name as my twitch account.
Is there a way to merge the two?
Looks like I have the same issue.

Resolved the issue myself.

I just signed up through twitch but i have used D&DB in the past with out it. How do I access the characters I made on d&db pre Twitch?
Hi there sayitter,
D&D Beyond has always been part of Twitch, so you must have used a Twitch account previously.
I'll drop you a PM with details of your two accounts in. :)
