I've got a Monk who has obtained a +1 Dragonhide Belt, but attuning to it doesn't seem to automatically increase the Save DC of Ki Features... The Monk is Level 5 with a +3 WIS Mod and +3 Proficiency, and the CON Save DC of Stunning Strike (a Ki Feature) is still showing as 14 (8+3+3), but it should be 15 (8+3+3+1)... I've got the belt equipped, and attuned...
The features of this item can't currently be implemented in the system. This is known, and documented in the support thread for Tasha's Cauldron of Everything
Ah, it's in the Fizban's thread (which makes a lot more sense, given that it's a Fizban's item)... Yeah, I see it there now, but it doesn't come up in a general search query on the site, only when you do a search in that specific thread... I'll remember to search those thread in addition to other, more general, searches in future! Thanks!

Even though it's basically the same type of item as the Rod of the Pact Keeper?
How do you know this? Is the code available? This is not hard to fix so people should expect it and continue to ask for it. Squeaky wheel gets the grease.
However, If that is the case, then more problems will accumulate as time goes because that is not good design. if it is hard to add the dragonhide belt and have it operate correctly, how the heck is DDB going to keep up with all the new items coming out. you would effectively freeze out a lot of creativity for item development and players love items.
It is more likely not a priority - there is decent amount of competition and DDB is trying to break into the VTT market and I suspect they are also preoccupied with the VR experience too.

It's been explained to be a more complicated issue before by staff. Note that I'm taking them at their word on that, however, it's not difficult to believe at all that a number that was never meant to look at items and what they might modify would be trickier to update. They'd have to not only update the code there, but also code a new option to modify that and make sure variable names match across all parts of the system.
Seems odd that the handling of the ki save DC for monk's wouldn't have just been treated like the spell save DC for mages given it can be modified by magical items similarly.

Ah, okay then, makes sense! Apologies, I'd done a quick search for similar topics but must have missed it... No worries, thanks for the reply!
It’s in this post: (https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/bugs-support/123752-fizbans-treasury-of-dragons-issues-and-support?comment=1). You know those pinned threads at the top of the list in the Bugs & Support forum? The first post in each of them has a wealth of information.

Yes, even though on the surface it looks like it. This is because it still works fundamentally differently in the backend on the character sheet

Is there a way to edit the DC manually for the time being.

Why isn't this fixed yet?
I too would like this fixed.
Jea like what
Known issue for 2 and a half years and still hasn't been fixed
Still an issue in 2025
still an issue even now.
It would take major backend changes. Don't expect it.
great....
