I am trying to build my character sheets on DnD beyond, but I am running into a problem. After using the PDF export feature the first time, I noticed a significant error in my stats and tried to update it. After updating it and trying to use the PDF Export again, it downloaded the very first one I did for that character, carrying over ZERO changes that I made to the character sheet even though when I use the online sheet, all of the information is accurate. I figured it was some glitch and copied my character and then noticed that the stats became accurate but once again after I tried to fix up the name (as it had the "Copy of" in the character name) and do the PDF export, it once again didn't carry over any changes that I made. Is anyone else experiencing this problem and is there a way to fix this or this is just a massive bug in the PDF export feature?

I'm having the exact same issue right now. Please let me know if anyone finds a way to fix it.

In the past logging out and back into the site has fixed it for me.

I'm having this same issue, but logging out and back in didn't fix it, anyone have any other ideas?

I found another work around, I opened the character in the mobile app, then from there went to "View Character on Website". On the web view I navigated to the download pdf and an updated version was available, so I closed all that out, got back on my pc and now I have an updated pdf.

After you update your character sheet you simply need to wait 20 minutes before exporting the PDF.

For me it can take several days before it updates. It is ... somewhat annoying. I use this app to experiment and compare builds, and that is made significantly more difficult by this bug.

The APP is designed for offline use and only updates things with the website once each night, which is why you are experiencing extended delays. If you instead update your character sheets directly on the website you will notice the PDF exporter updates more quickly. (I personally don’t use the APP for anything.)

In your previous post you wrote “I use this app,*” so you can understand my confusion. If you are experiencing delays with the website, is it possible that you have the same character sheet open on multiple devices (phone, tablet, laptop, etc.)? That would cause such delays. If not, are you running any ad/popup blockers, browser extensions, or a VPN? Any of those may be interfering with DDB.

I did indeed. My mistake. I am using Addblock Plus. How could that interfere?

I have no idea, I just know that sometimes they do.

Edit; it did not work. And I can confirm it makes me use D&D Beyond less and less.

Same issue, using Chrome on my PC.  Pretty annoying.

After you make updates to your character sheet you must wait 20 minutes before exporting to PDF.

Same here. Not updating. Been logging in and out for about 15 minutes now. Please fix that.

I just tried a trick that I found in another thread, go to your list of characters and make a copy of your character. The copy will show the UPDATED pdf :D Let me know if that helped!!

I went to grab some pregens to let the kids try this out. I de-leveled a level 9 fighter and noticed despite that, he printed with a wand of fireballs and about 4 other magical items. I went back, removed them, updated it all .... still kept printing as a level 1 with all his magic items. Annnnnd of course I find a multi-year thread with the same issue. *Chef's kiss*
