There is no need to bump - as this is a current issue, the thread is pinned in the Bugs & Support subforum. For ongoing issues, we do this so other uses can find the thread and see what they need to do in order to resolve the issue.
It's frustrating not being able to input my card info. I am the only person in my groups that has a paid subscription, being a master tier sub. What am I supposed to do for the other players that can't access their stuff, because I'm the only one that can enable content sharing?
Can I please stress - do not try to resolve yourself, don't try to cancel multiple times, or start a sub via the app. Doing this can make the under lying issue harder for us to resolve. I understand it is frustrating, but when it comes to Billing related issues if they are not resolved exactly the correct way, it can cause further issues down the road.
Might be good to put the warning about not trying again on the faulty Subscription page - I tried several times yesterday assuming it was my fault, pretty shit to now find out that I might have messed up my account for good because I did this. Pretty poor user experience to be honest.
Yep. Also having this issue and sent in a ticket. This is a pretty harsh hard stop to the flow of service, I am curious how many people have actually never re-subbed because of this issue. Have a game on Monday, we'll see if my players can access or change their sheets on that day with shared content.
I am trying to resubscribe but encouring the same issue. About to put in my support ticket. Could it be because of the WOTC purchase and they are transitioning staff?
Hey folks - apologies for the delay, we've been a bit snowed under this week with tickets (anytime there are Sales and also with additional questions regarding D&D Beyond transitioning over to Wizards of the Coast), so the initial response time is around the three days or so mark. We are trying to catch up as quickly as we can. If you have had a ticket in for greater than three days, then send me a private message with the ticket number.
As for the question on the FAQ - yes, we need new FAQs for the new process flow, however, to create new FAQs means we need to stop answering tickets and with the transition there are other process with migrating the tickets/FAQs over to the appropriate instance. As soon as it is possible to create/update FAQs we will. (Unfortunately, the team are human and not warforged and we do need sleep - trust me you don't want me responding to tickets on no sleep)
I just ran into this issue myself earlier today. I didn't have the money in my account when my subscription tried to pull , tried renewing it once I added finds to my account and for the, "couldn't collect payment," screen. I tried a few different things to rectify the issue including canceling the subscription to try to resubscribe, but still no luck. Went ahead and submitted a ticket and hopefully it'll get fixed soon.
April 30, 2022 - No update payment information box available for subscription payment, five pages of replies to the initial Topic. Not sure why I can actually purchase books but can't add that information to restart my subscription. Seems kind of a shitty business model to not take your customers money.
Mine won't let me Upgrade my plan to the Hero status.... It says I already have the subscription but won't let me make more than 6 characters and the bottom still says Free Trial....

Are you able to try updating your payment information at Your Subscription? A simple banner on the page telling people about the issue could solve a lot of frustration.

How in the Hell is How do I change My payment information?" not at the VERY TOP of the FAQ list?
I downloaded Firefox and logged in from there instead of Chrome and from there I could renew the subscription.
Had an expired card that caused my problem.
I have the same issue. Unable to renew my subscription and still locked out from accessing most of the characters.

Having the same issue I saw it Saturday and sent my ticket in about how long is it usually taking for them to get back to it?
