I have created a homebrew monster that has a bonus action. When I go to the link https://www.dndbeyond.com/monsters/2426297-chinese-guardian-dog (unpublished) I can see the bonus action just fine. But when I add this creature as summoned, pet, misc, etc. under the extras tab in a character sheet, the stat block appears without any bonus actions. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?
I recall hearing that creatures in the Extras tab don't display their Bonus Actions. That it's a known issue with DDB that they'll need to take care of, and not something you've done incorrectly.

I found a small workaround by including in the actions section a blockquote and typing "Bonus Actions;" then just copy pasting what I had in bonus actions into there. Very annoying that's the way I had to do it though.
If you skip the block quote and make the phrase “Bonus Actions” as Header 3 format with the color set as #800000, it’ll look almost exactly right for you. That was how I used to fake a bonus actions section before there was one. The reason that bonus actions don’t display under Extras is because that section was added to monsters later and the Extras section wasn’t ever programmed to accept it. (Monsters only recently started getting bonus actions.)
