I've been adding races and subraces from the Tome of Heroes for my players to use, and there have been a number of times where something is meant to replace something in the base race. Regardless of whether the base race is homebrew or not, the Replacement feature type only lists other features for that particular subrace or variant. I tried to add an image to show it, but it's not allowing me for some reason, so you'll have to deal with an outside link: https://imgur.com/onneAFs. Suffice it to say, trying to replace the Ability Score Increase of STR +2 CON +1 with STR +1 CON +2 gives me "No Matches Found" regardless of whether something has been typed into the box. There are 9 features from the base homebrew race that should be able to be replaced.
In the prior bug report, the OP was told to post a link to the homebrew for review. But, since I don't own the Midgard setting, I would kindly ask the mod or staffer who can hopefully help out private message me so I can share the link there.
The "replacement" and "additional" trait types are meant just for the Customize Your Origin option from Tasha's.
To replace a base race trait in a variant homebrew Subrace, first in the main edit page, make sure you check the box that says Is Variant, then Save Changes. Then when you add a Trait for the subrace it must be type "Granted". Look for the Replace Base Race Trait dropdown just above Required Character Level.
As naruhoodie stated, don’t make them “Replacement,” or “Additional” traits, those are only for customizable origins like from Tasha’s Cauldron of Confusing Homebrewers. make sure they are “Granted” traits.
Subraces don’t have traits that replace base race traits, all subrace traits are gained in addition to the base race traits. Only Variant races have traits that replace base racial traits. They still need to be “Granted” traits, but then you can designate which base trait they are meant to replace using the Replace Base Race Trait dropdown, just as naruhoodie described.
Hey I'm working on something like this but the "Replace Base Race Racial Trait" doesn't show up, I'm working on a homebrew race, and a variant of it is a race that can change or "Evolve" when they do certain things, but each type of evolution is supposed to replace a trait that the base version has, is there a way I can do this? Cause referencing the picture that you showed I don't have that Replace feature even after setting things to Granted

I tried googling, and was only able to find one similar bug from over a year back (Homebrew Subrace Replacement Feature not Working) which has no update.
