they seem to have a runaway cookie problem where they just keep growing the cookie until it gets too big and breaks. you can fix this yourself by going into your browser's Dev Tools, then go to Application, then Cookies, then clear the cookie for dndbeyond. Then log back in and you should be good.
If you login using a different browser than usual does it make any difference? E.g. I first got a success by switching browsers, and then that made me suspect something in the cache or cookies.
Getting a similar issue. Character sheets won't open. Have restarted, updated, done everything I can think of, but this has happened every time over the course of three days.
Worked on saturday with my party. I set up my old ipad for my kids and made some screen time settings also with webpage age restrictions - which then were transferred to all my devices, this caused the error on my mac book… thank you apple!
Seems like everyone is trying to access them right now which might be the problem. Either way DndBeyond needs to address it. They've already lost a lot of subs and if this keeps happening it'll only be more.
I am in the middle of planning tomorrow's session for a game we haven't been able to play for 6 weeks. It has been doing this for WEEKS. I am BEYOND infuriated. Fix this crap.
Either the company is downright incompetent, uncaring, greedy, or they're being attacked. Can't really do anything about the first one other than not use their website. The second and third just show that they aren't worth paying money to to perpetuate that. That last one though would piss me off the most. People attacking companies for doing something that companies are gonna do with a disregard for the people partaking in their services is just gonna piss them off.
Can't access character sheets in the middle of a game. Nice one D&D Beyond. I'd be a shame if me and my friends just switched over to Roll20 because this is far from a first time occurrence, it's just gotten to the point where I'm complaining about it. The next time this happens, AND I MEAN THIS, I'm leaving this website. I've finally lost my patience.
same here
Lost ability to create or edit character sheets both on mobile and PC.
I didn't want to believe it, but now it's the same for me too.

That made absolutely no difference

I had the same problem.
Clearing the DnDBeyond cookies worked for me.
