So I have the Player’s Handbook and even have shared access to other books, such as the Eberron core setting, that contain the information for playing a Drow. I can literally use the site to go in and read that info, but for some reason, and I see I’m not the only one that’s experienced this, the character creation setup will NOT show dark elf/drow as an option. One thread suggested signing out and clearing my cache and then signing back in and seeing if that worked. Alas, it did not. I know I could likely make a “Homebrew” race that would just be a Drow but this really irks me that I can’t get this to function correctly. Can anyone help?

Are you trying to make your Drow in the campaign where content sharing is turned on?

You only have the ability to create characters with shared content in that specific campaign.

Wait I just reread and you have (own?) the PHB,you need to first select Elf and then in the drop down Dark Elf

Yep, it’s not there. It may be there for you but it isn’t for me. This is the whole problem aka a glitch, because it works for some people apparently but not for me and from what I’ve seen others as well. I could show a screen shot but I’ve no idea how to put images in this forum.

As for how to share screenshots here, you must first host them on another site like www.imgur.com, and you’ll need the “direct link” from that site which ends in either .jpg or .png. Then you can embed them here. Here’s a brief video if you’re interested:

Thanks for the info. The shared content is giving Beyond fits it seems. I’ve resorted to buying some of the desired pieces myself to see if that helps.
