I've got Master Tier Sub. So I know this has been asked a bunch, so I figured I would try all of the suggestions before making a post and encourage anyone that finds this to try the suggestions as well if you're having issues. So, I'll outline what I've done to get better help.
- Cleared cache & waited over 24 hours just in case it was a system sync - I only have the one campaign so there shouldn't be an issue with multiple campaign sharing (I know only one can have sharing enabled) - Players have toggled the "HomeBrew" off and on again several time - Deleted the campaign after creating items/adding them to my inventory & remade it - Player tried creating a character specifically within the campaign rather than using one made outside of the campaign & still toggled the "Homebrew" off and on. - She also tried making out outside to bring it in with no luck still - Turned off the sharing and on again - Players are signed into their own accounts - I know it's automatically shared when in private collection but when they try and view, nothing shows up - I'm trying to add both weapons and a subclass. The weapons aren't showing and subclass is in fact a fighter subclass and itsn't showing up. - I might have tried more but I spent well over 8 hours total trying to figure this out and I'm incredibly frustrated.
Note: In the images I'm providing, it says Wallowinwasabi for both, but one is made from a seperate email and one is my wizards, I made the second account to recreate and troubleshoot before needing to ask here. I'm mostly wanting to add the "Gunslinger" subclass, and any of the weapons, but none show up.
I really want to use D&DBeyond and was so excited to switch so I really hope this can be solved. Even better if it's easy and I'm just sleepy.
Gunslinger and its associated weapons are not considered “homebrew,” but instead “partnered content.” You need to turn on Partnered Content and specify the Critical Roll content for the character sheet for those to become eligible.
I facepalmed into my keyboard. I am relatively new to making the character on here vs something like roll20 so I was just missing the spot for the subclass (I thought it was Class > Optional Feature Manager. Derp.) I had a different gunslinger subclass I wanted to enable, not the CR one so turning that on still wouldn't have mattered.
And finding the weapons I made specifically wasn't working. What my problem seemed too be was that I had to add all of my starting equipment first, then once that saved my add items section loaded in the homebrew items I made, along with every other homebrew option out there. Not sure if there's a way to toggle my homebrew items only but that's an issue for another day. I also installed firefox to try and it seemed to be a Chrome issue only, since when I went through the character creation it worked fine on firefox.
Thanks for the quick reply though, I appreciate it.
Ah, yeah, no, subclasses are “Archetypes” for Fighters. Everything here on DDB is labeled pretty much exactly as it is in the books. The Optional Feature Manager is for the Optional Class Features found in Tasha’s Cauldron.
