As in the title, I wanted to add my Artificer's Steel Defender to the Extras tab, but found myself unable to do so. There was a subheading for a Steel Defender, but no actual statblock for it. I do remember previously being able to add it to the extras.
Has this been removed or am I missing something?

A deck of playing cards are a great way to randomise encounters
The Extras tab can only add standard monster statblocks. The dynamic blocks for things like steel defender and tasha summon spells are not supported and cannot be added.
The recommendation is create a homebrew statblock using the details. You'll need to create new updated versions whenever your character stats change but until then you can add the block to extra for use.

This is not entirely true. When I first made my artificer, my steel defender showed up under extras. It's HP and all followed the SD stats in the Actions tab and it leveled correctly using the PB. It disappeared a week or 2 later. I thought I had deleted it so I tried recreating the character to get it back, but I'm guessing DDB got rid of it for some baffling reason. I've since had to resort to a homebrew version I made. Only prob is I have to change it every level since I can't figure out how to link it to my PB.

It is not and has never been supported.
