I ordered the digital/physical bundle and still have no access to the digital early access.
Did you order through WotC Store or D&D Beyond store? If the latter you will not get early access.
Check Entitlements are in sync. You may often need to refresh this after pre-ordered things release. Click profile pic in top-right, click accounts, click licenses and at the top is "entitlements" which will either say you're all in sync or give a button to click to refresh your entitlements.

So, I just tried to read through all of this. I bought the Digital preorder back in March under the impression that I was going to get early access because I preordered it.
I just now read about all of this and I am super confused about whats going on.
So early access was only for the digital+physical bundle before April 30th? I have been looking everywhere to see where it states that digital preorders do not get early access.
But to be clear, I want to know if i made the mistake on not going deeper into reading? or was there something tinkered with and I'm not crazy???

You don’t get early access for preordering digital. That has historically been a perk for buying physical+digital bundles. You probably won’t find anything that says you DON’T get early access for preordering a digital copy because the perk for the physical+digital bundle is the exception, not the rule.
That said, I don’t think anyone communicated the deadline for buying the physical+digital bundle until after the deadline had passed, which is where a lot of the frustration in this thread is coming from.

Gotta agree with everyone else here. The fact that this was only stated on two articles as a FOOTNOTE on some articles and not explicitly stated on the actual product page is an extremely scummy (though at this point not unsurprising) practice for WotC to be doing.
Just tried buying the physical edition anyway. Turns out you cant. It just says your cart is expired, lol. soooo oh well. guess ill just have to wait.....If I had known the deadline sooner, I definitely would have gotten it earlier.
While Cyb3rM1nd is correct in that that's how you'd get the bundled price, due to the marketplace update, physical/digital bundles purchased after April 30th do not get you early access. I don't know the why of that, and I know it's not what the answer you wanna hear right now.
What I can say is that whatever feedback you give me about that decision in response will be added to my massive feedback spreadsheet and escalated.
Can you confirm?
I'm US I Purchased Before April 30th (26th) and I still dont have access
Early Access is a perk of the digital + physical bundle. It only applies to bundles purchased through the WotC store.
US customers who bought the bundle through WotC before April 30th will get the early access. US customers who bought the bundle after April 30th will not.
Early Access remains available for non-US customers buying the bundle through WotC Store.

If you have qualified for Early Access - it has released, but may take time for access to be fully rolled out. A specific time was not promised - it will be rolled out by end of the day. You will need to check your entitlements are in Sync by going to your Account and clicking Licenses. At the top is an Entitlements section. If there is a button to re-sync click that. If you are in sync it will say so.

This isnt true I ordered myn on April 26th and I did not get Early Release
Did you preorder digital only or the physical/digital bundle? Because only the latter grants early access.
Though the amount of folks who are saying they saw something to the contrary months ago is enough that I'm going to do some digging about it.
There are a few sources outside of DDB that erroneously state or imply that preordering Vecna: Eve of Ruin (not the bundle specifically) on DDB will gain you early access, but I have not yet seen anything that actually came from DDB/WotC that says as much.
If people are getting their updates from Polygon, Screen Rant, and Wargamer instead of DDB, that might explain the confusion.

tl;dw: This just supports the fact that there was widespread misreporting from third-party sites about HOW you got early access to Eve of Ruin (pre-ordering the bundle versus just… pre-ordering SOMEthing), which is not necessarily DDB/WotC’s fault unless the misinformation started with them (tbd, but it looks like it didn’t).
It also highlights the fact that no one knew about the bundle pre-order deadline until a post was edited after the deadline had passed. That IS their fault.
I do recommend watching ZombieMall's video which does highlight some very important things.
There's so much wrong over this and it just seems to get worse and worse the more we dig into it.
This is disheartening.

Hi. I preordered on April 22 and can't access the book. I just bought the digital product. When will this be sorted?

I opened a ticket. I purchased 3/3 and don't have access. Ridiculous!.
