You are not allowed to select the same fighting style mutiple times. Just because the character sheet does not prevent you from doing it doesn't mean it is allowed by the rules.
And amazingly STILL not fixed... (over 3 years). Funny how the skills section can remove previously selected options but not this.
Yep, that is because the character sheet has still not been rebuilt from the ground up in order for shared feature options to be supported.
They are working on the back end slowly but surely so they can make changes without breaking existing characters.. I suspect work on a big update (that may or may not include a fix to this issue but will be a step closer either way) will begin sometime next year.
Until then we the players will just have to read our features and build our characters within the rules, same as on paper.
True. However, with One D&D in Beta (sort of), I'm guessing that it's even less of a priority.
Well yes and no.
One D&D is planned to use mostly the same system as 5e, so any ******** on DDB transfer to one D&D no problem. In that sense, making DDB properly reflect the rules is still a priority.
But with One D&D they plan on making big changes to the online presence of the game and be directly involved in how it is played online. In that sense squashing minor bugs takes back seat to preparing the infrastructure for that change over.

When multi-classing, choosing multiple times archery fighting style adds +2 to hit for each class.
Tested with Fighter and Ranger

This issue is already logged - I dont have any info on when a fix will be implemented, but it's on the radar.

Wary the wizard who focuses on homebrew, for he can create nightmares that you wouldn't even dream of
Ok, cool. Cause a player just tried to sneak this past me :)
