You can. You have to first upload the image to an image hosting site (like imgur or similar). Once you have that, open image in new tab and copy that URL. Paste that URL into source after clicking insert image, you don't have to put any dimensions unless you want to resize it from default.
Hi, I am trying to add an image to my notes on my digital character sheet on dndbeyond. I loaded the image into dropbox and modified the URL, but when I past that into my notes it just shows the URL and not the image. Any advice?
Maybe covered somewhere else, but how do you add images to DM notes etc in the campaign manager.
I notice something similar in the threat text box here when I click on the insert image icon is asks for:
source
Description
dimesnsions
I am trying to add in a *.png image from my library.
Appreciate any advice as I am feeling somewhat dumb right now!
I don’t think you can currently. Best option is probably to store images in a cloud based service and link to them in the notes.

I found this Dropbox forum post explaining that for Dropbox links, replace the "dl=0" with "raw=1" and it works just fine on D&D Beyond.
