Many people talked about other classes. mainly the guy just after you posted who talked about the druid. my post with the pictures was mainly for him.
its simple, you create a magic item that you should call ritual book. or book of ritual or whatever you want it to be called. then once the item is created, there is a section that let you add spells to it. its as simple as that.
as for what you think is the only thread in existence... there is like 5 threads like this one, all talking about the warlock invocations, feats and other classes like the druid and cleric. this thread is the most popular one as the feat is what most people want more.
as for my post i changed it, cause the word not shouldn't be in that sentence. i meant that wizard works fine, but feat and warlock aren't. which is odd to say the least considering that the feature is already in this, shouldn't be hard to give the same feature with an on/off check to see if the feat or the invocation is there.
Thanks for the info on the item, it was easy to create.
Honestly I think the expectation is if there is something you can choose as an option in the game, it should function on the character sheet. Especially for people who buy things piecemeal like feats or classes.
After reading your post about creating a book, because that is what the feat says you do, creating the magic item makes much more sense. I also like that it implies that it can be lost, stolen, or destroyed.
Ok new here and new character that also would like to add spells to the book as an option in the program. apparently still not able to do so. I will try what others have suggested and make a magic item to put them in ;)
There is one solution that would be awesome for me. considering the fact that the invocation and the feat actually requires you to have a physical book in your inventory.
i'd like the developpers to actually create a magical item that actually allows for one to add spells into it. for now the ritual book we can do has to be modified everytimes we add a new spells and i think its one too many hoops to go through. if we had a book as a magic item and that book had the ability to add more spells, like the wizard do right now. it would be wawesome and it would be the best of two worlds. now the feat and the invocation could simply add that magic item into your inventory and you'd be done with it.

@Kenesisiscool it has been patched, but the problem is... their solution is kind of counter intuitive. when you first create a character, it is ok to have the book be written in... but once the character has been created, you constantly need to go edit your stuff by using the Edit features. instead of just having it. also, the feat and the invocation both mention the ritual book as being a an actual ritual book. but in this case it is not... would you ask your player to delete one of his feature if a thief actually steal his book ? or are you simply never gonna steal his book or make good use as a DM of the fact the player can lose the said book. in all cases, their solution is only partial. works for now, but we expect it to be better managed later on.

Just a work-around or 'feature' - if you go to the ritual caster feat you selected in character creation, it will allow you to add spells to the feat itself. This may be by design. :)

It is by design, but I think that was added after the last comment
It was added because of this thread yes. It is a temporary solution until the creation of the new character builder.

This thread looks like it's been revived since it's last post in 2018. The information from 2018 is no longer current, as this is no longer an issue on the current character sheets.
I will be locking this thread now. If you have a current issue with the Ritual Caster feat, please create a new thread. :)

Would really like to see this fixed.

I need this feature!
It's been patched so there should be no more issues.

I'd like to think it was added because it was broken otherwise, but it would be nice if this thread helped them know it was broken
