I was crafting a home brew magic item and accidentally published it before I was ready. Now, I’m having trouble finding a way to either edit, unpublush, or delete the item. Any help would be most appreciated.
No, deleting your account will not delete any published homebrew content.
This is because allowing users to delete published homebrew could cause issues for other users who have added that homebrew to their character sheets. It's why we have a confirmation dialogue asking you to confirm that you want to publish your content.
What if I made a mistake with content I published, and only found it later on. Would creating a new version override the old one without harming anyone else's character sheets?

The new one would be available for others to add to their collections, but anyone who has added the previous version to their collection will retain that older copy. The new one will not actually overwrite the older version.
Not being able to remove broken items is going to create a lot of wasted space on the servers due to people spending time making multiple versions just to figure out how each mechanic works.
An then to do it again in the future with other items.

That’s why I recommend fully playtesting and editing your items prior to publishing them.

My first homebrew I published before testing it out on a character sheet and it was a disaster. Since then I make sure to actually use it on a character sheet before publishing. I'm usually doing things I'm unfamiliar with and it takes several attempts to get it right before its a finished product. Also, making a new version fixes bad versions.
You should be able to delete anything that's unused. You should be able to unlist anything else so it isn't removed from someone's character, but it won't come up in the homebrew list for anyone.
Edit: I'm stupid. I've never looked at what "Published Homebrew" tabs actually look like... These are already features... except for the removal
I honestly wish I could make notes on my published items, especially to refer to newer versions... and also the addition mentioned here of "If unused, allow deletion"... or something like "Update item"... a way for people to immediately get the new version IF they want to... if they don't, they can keep using the original or previous version.
And if everyone got the new version, the old version gets deleted 3 months later or so.
I have a lot of items I REGRET publishing. Like full on "Oh god why did I make that?! WHAT WAS I THINKING???" Such as a druid subclass or so ... which had an extended spell list of like... 50+ spells. Help.
Hello all,

You cannot delete or unpublish a published item. Once you click publish, then read and confirm the publish confirmation dialogue, it's done.
You can edit items by doing the following:

Thank you very much!
Wow, that's useless hahaha
If I term my account, will it at least delete my shitty post?

How do I delete items I never published
Go to the description page for your homebrew and hit the [DELETE] button. Simple as that.
