EDIT - Sorry. Just realized you were not referring to my post and the error code I posted. Apologies for the rest of the irrelevance that follows.
This happens with any new character I make, even ones with homebrew disabled. There are many other posts about this same bug. They describe it as a caching issue where the spells known gets returned as null. That error happens if you try to add a spell that you already have known while this null spell issue is happening.
I added spells at level 1, went to manage level, increased to level 2, went to the spells tab where the spells were missing, added mage hand again which I already knew, and error.
I too have been having this problem both with spells and leveling up not adding my HP. I tried to level up my cleric and all her spells disappear yet when I level her back down they return and her HP will never save I had to do it as an override on the character sheet. Is this a bug being looked into? I have noticed it has been since I purchased content on the website something I thought would help gameplay not ruin it. I hope they do give an update on where they stand on this soon.
Leveling up a character and attempting to modify their spells in the level up page will empty all of their known spells and/or their spellbook.
EDIT: The spells appear to have reappeared on the character I originally discovered this with. I deleted the copies that I test with, so I don't know if their spells would reappear as well.
I'm in the builder making an Arcane Trickster, though this has happened for every spellcaster I've made over the past month or so.
When I drop down the menu and select the next level, I go to my spell tab and all of my spells (including cantrips) are at 0/*. If I attempt to add another spell, it will come up with an error page. Pressing F5 to reload fixes it, but then it happens for the next level again
Hello everyone, thank you very much for your reports! An issue was occurring where the "Spells" tab in the Character Builder would display as if no spells were known or prepared, despite a character having spells, after that character's level was changed.
The team implemented a fix for this issue today. You should now find that leveling up your spellcasting characters does not remove their spells from the "Spells" display tab.

I am having the same issue. Whenever I level up a character, all of my known and prepared spells disappear.
My known spells disappear every time I close the tab, and most of the time when I try to add spells I get Error Code fa2f90caad854b93a684937c79fef2bd
Please post a link to your character. The error code is often an indicator of problematic homebrew

Just reproduced it on this character which has homebrew disabled. https://ddb.ac/characters/32189455/wdJeTz

Refreshing the page does bring back the spells but I cannot reliably prevent it from occurring as described in this thread https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/bugs-support/74573-known-prepared-spells-arent-retrieved-properly
Same.
I'll roll to see how fun this is. Oh look at that. Natural 20

I've been having the same issue for several weeks. VERY annoying.
Any update devs?
I’m having the same issue with an Arcane Trickster. Didn’t seem to have a problem previously.
