I'm trying to make a conversion of the Bracers of Archery focused on crossbows. I can find the longbow/shortbow damage modifiers, and a piercing damage modifier, but I can't for the life of me make it work with crossbows. I've tried typing in Crossbow, Light, Light Crossbow, etc. and there's no luck. Does anyone know a work around that isn't just "all piercing damage"? If someone with pull looks like this, can we get all the weapons added to the list so we can make items modularly?
Just bumping this to say that I was trying to do exactly this same thing (create a homebrew Bracers of Crossbow Archery) and was also unable to do it. It's weird that Longbow and Shortbow are specific damage modifier types, but crossbows (and other weapons) are not. I hope we can get this changed.
I suspect the reason is that there are existing effects which specify shortbow and longbow on official items, but crossbows don't have equivalent effects. I just wish they'd make it so we can define the object or create options for all possible items, much as that may clutter the list, so we can make things like these bracers.

2f. Bumping Threads and Thread Necromancy
Thread-necromancy is defined as reviving an old thread for no reason other than bumping it to the first page or offering your opinion on a discussion that concluded over 6 months previously, without offering new information. If you have nothing to add to the discussion, move on. Thread authors may reply to their thread if they have made a significant update to the original post.

Hello everyone,

This needs a proper bump.
Bump. Problem remains.
