I'm running.a campaign with 5-6 players, and I have access to edit all of their sheets except for one. When I try and go to edit this sheet, it opens on the class page (fully editable) but then if I try to switch to any other section of the character builder or switch back to Class, the editing options disappear + are replaced by a description of the titular concept. I've asked the player to join with a new sheet, and it hasn't fixed the problem. This has never been, and is not currently a problem with any of the other players' sheets.
Please post a link to that character so someone can look into it for you. Does that player use an ad/popup blockers, browser extensions, or a VPN that may be interfering with DDB?
I can access and edit preferences, and nothing seems to be up there. I can edit some things directly in the sheet,. However if I try to do so by clicking the button with the anvil symbol its very different. First, it takes me to the Class page where I can access and edit everything. However if i click to any other section (including back to the class section,) there's only blocks of descriptive text.
I meant directly on the character sheet. It would basically let you adjust the Home settings from the sheet instead of the builder because in their post, the OP mentioned not being able to access any tab of the builder other than class

Yes, this happened to me as well and this was what I had to do. Having the ? blue made it show the descriptions of what you are doing, similar to what the OP said.
I had that happen to one of my own characters a couple of days ago. I'm pretty certain I had never hit the question mark... but I noticed it was blue and clicked it and everything went back to normal. So this may not be a one-off glitch, but it is easy to fix once you see what happened.

Can you edit things directly on the character sheet? Like, if you click “manage spells” can you add spells for them?
Click on the little cogwheel next to character’s name and when the sidebar slides out, click “preferences” and see if something is goofy.
