I have just started a new campaign and have the following classes:
Human Fighter, Human Barbarian, Dwarf Cleric, Half-elf Monk.
All of them appear to have the incorrect calculated starting HP:
Human fighter: 15 HP con mod +2 (shouldn't this be 12HP?) Human Barbarian: 19 HP con mod +2 (shouldnt this be 14HP?) Dwarf Cleric: 15HP con mod +1 recital bonus +1 (shouldnt this be 10HP?) Half-elf Monk: 12HP con mod +0 (shouldnt this be 8HP?)
Seems that the rolled HP for the above was too high. Is this a bug?
Have them post their character sheets here, please. there was (is?) a glitch where under certain circumstances in the builder, the hit die was set to a d12. When that happened, switching from fixed hp to manual to fixed (or the other way round) corrected it. But that doesn’t completely explain the numbers you are reporting.
Yea - the bug where if you choose Manual HP type before choosing your class automatically sets Rolled HP to 12. If you choose your class first - it doesn't do that.
If you go through all of the characters - go to the builder and the Class page and Manage HP. Make sure their Rolled HP for their class is correct.
The Fighter Barbarian and Cleric though - they are weird. Their rolled HP must have been manually set higher? Or maybe they're using a homebrew race/subclass or item that is giving them more HP? I don't want to say they're cheating - but maybe they are.
As ArwensDaughter said - best to link their character sheets to see what's up.

Thanks Emmber that explains it. Not sure what happened with the Barb but the fighter and clerics math was correct if they rolled a 12 on a d12. They (the players) have since fixed the issue by adjusting their rolled HP.
