Completely unable to use the vast majority of app on multiple devices. Today’s update (2-28) did not fix the issue. First noticed it two days ago. I was in the monster manual and none of the images would load. Thought it was weird since the books were supposed to be downloaded to my device. Decided to uninstall the book content and reinstall it. When I tried to download the book again it would not complete. It only downloads to 50% and then stalls out. I deleted the app and reinstalled it and tried again. Same result, except now since I deleted the app, I can’t download any of the books since they all stall at 50%. When I cancel the download and try it again it gets stuck on "preparing…". I tried restarting my internet, used a different network, and even tried my cellphone carriers network and it still has the same issue. I also tried logging in and logging out again and that didn’t work either. I am not using a VPN. I am located in Minneapolis. This issue is consistent across multiple devices (iPad Pro 5th Gen and iPhone 12 Pro). I can still access content through the website. I have nearly 100gb of space available on both devices. I tried restarting the devices and then reinstalling the app and the issue persists. Both devices run iOS 15.3.1. DNDBeyond app version is 2.7 (79)
One suggestion for the future, if we can access the books without downloading them (while still having the option to download them for offline use) that would be ideal since right now if I can’t download the books the app is pretty much broken for me to use.

Ranger spells past 1st level do not show up in the character builder, both on the web page and in-app (Android). Tried making a second ranger to see if there was a workaround but the spells (and second level spell slots) do not appear in the "add spells" list or on the character sheet for me

I've just checked and they do appear for me. How many Ranger levels does the character have? (Rangers being half-casters only get second level spells and spell slots at 5th Ranger level.)

My app is crashing and restarting when I try to turn on saving books on external storage. I'm running it on an ASUS Chromebook, model C101P. I'd love to use this device for running/playing D&D off, but it doesn't have enough internal storage for me to download my books onto :( I'd love any suggestions on steps I could take to get around this or help resolve it!
I tried the obvious of restarting the device after enabling external storage (only just got an SD card to use) as well as reinstalling the app from the Play Store - Version 2.8.1 (13761). Any advice?
In character builder, class tab, the top half either displays a blank or a copy of the top half of the page I have just come from, race tab or ability tab, leaving me in able to access the level or hit points or do spells if I have selected a spell caster class. Tried logging out and back in. Some times when switching from vertical view to horizontal view the blank is to the right of the screen and I can access level if I act quickly before it realigns.
iOS 15.4 seems to break dice rolling in both the app and the web browser, though in different ways. I noticed this when I first installed the 15.4 beta and hoped the issue would resolve before the final release, but it’s still an issue in both places.
In the app, the dice do not appear at all, just the final roll result. In the web browser, rolling a die causes a weird glitch where the die leaves streaks across the screen.
The web browser issue appears to be related to a WebKit feature called “WebGL via Metal”. Toggling this off in Settings->Safari->Advanced->Experimental and then force-quitting Safari fixes the web browser issue, but does not resolve the app.

While playing at GenCon I found a rather frustrating bug. I have reproduced this on 2 Android Phones and 2 Android Tablets. After you roll your digital dice in the app while in landscape view, you are not able to tap and clear the roll results. Each time you need to clear the results, you need to re-orient the screen to portrait, tap and clear the roll results, then you can go back to landscape.
Same issue here as well : downloads up to around 50%, then just stops after a couple of seconds with no error message, and I still can't access my content afterward. For smaller things like the Vecna Dossier it's going up to 100% quickly and ends the download, but it still shows the download button afterward and when I click on it to access the content, it tells me "The Vecna Dossier (5.5MB) is not currently on your device. Would you like to download it?" again

I've noticed for a while now on my app that my Channel Divinity for my Paladin does not display the correct ability for my character and instead displays the default Sacred Weapon and Turn the Unholy.
I'm unsure if this is because my Oath is actually a homebrew oath, but if I tab that section of features and traits to get a focused view of Channel Divinity it displays the correct homebrewed version.
My Subscription Payment wasn't processed and I cannot figure out why. The site won't allow me to access my payment information. I've been a DM member for over 4 years now and I have a lot of content that I have paid for and that I don't want to lose access to. Anyone have any ideas?

-There's money in my account.
-When I go the subscription page, the only option is to cancel my subscription.
-This has never occurred before and, as mentioned above, I have been a member for 4 years and 20 days.
-I DM for my group today and I now have the option to choose between 6 of my 101 characters.
Resolved! New issue: Subscription management is now ONLY available from the mobile app. It is no longer available from the web app.

Your players should own their own characters; so unless you are running a game with 74 GM characters, you could temporarily select the 6 NPC you definitely need for today; and contact support to help with the payment issue (the link is on the very bottom of the page, on the right), since this forum thread deals with the mobile app and its functionality, and your problem is with billing & subscription.
Also, you do not lose content - when your subscription lapses, you just temporarily lose access to characters over the 6 limit, you temporarily can't select backgrounds and dice granted via subscription perks and you temporarily can't enable content sharing; but any perks or content already assigned to characters will stay assigned, and you get your access back to the rest of your characters and options when your payment issue is resolved.

So, thanks again for helping my group resolve this issue! The subscription management seems to have been migrated to the mobile app and I couldn't access any of my payment functionality from the web app. I never would have checked the mobile app for this! Thanks!

Love the app. Especially as character creation goes.
My major frustration is no messaging possible for players/DM within a campaign.
There should be a way outside of forums or another program to communicate with campaign members within DnDB.
Perhaps send a tech over to mRPG to find inspiration for this concern.
Otherwise solid work.

Updates to resources since the latest update don’t seem to be sticking. Acq Inc and others are constantly saying they have updates.
