Could we possibly get an hp tracker similar to the beastmasters beast hp tracker? Apologies if this already is a thing and I'm a knucklehead, or if this is the wrong forum. But I'd appreciate a way to keep track of it on the sheet that is userfriendly.
One easy way to do so would just be to create a homebrew monster called Arcane Ward with the appropriate max HP, add it to the Extras page under Misc, and track its HP from there! You can also override the ward's max HP directly from that page when it would otherwise change (with your INT mod or wizard level).
You don't even have to create a homebrew monster, just customize any random one with the appropriate name and HP, as long as you don't mind seeing all the extra monster info (actions, senses, etc.).

That sounded like a great idea, so .... I went ahead and built that while eating breakfast. 😊
When playing a School of Abjuration wizard, you should now see an additional action titled "Arcane Ward - Hit Points" that has a number of max uses calculated to be equal to the ward amount (twice your wizard level, plus intelligence bonus). You can use that to track the amount of hit points remaining on the ward.
