..Meaning When people join THEIR campaign the people joining have the ability to share their content. But the person who actually created the campaign has no way of removing that person's content if they don't want it in their game..

If I want to add a homebrew race to my campaign. I will add it manually. It should not be added automatically because someone else decided to add it to their content.
Even if they turn off their content sharing it remains. They will have to actually go into their own "homebrew collection" and remove it before it will disappear and that is ridiculous.
Please take this issue seriously it is a major pain.. I can see why they would want content sharing among the players and game masters, as it is a way for groups to share the burden of cost of want of material.
Some Dungeon Masters on this site welcome content sharing, for the use of material one would like to have yet can’t afford to purchase for the time being, in use in preparation and presentation of a game that might normally have been a bit lacking in flavor and options, and an ability for those who would want to test and refine elements in shared material by allowing one to “preview” the content for purchase consideration.
Once again this is a situation where I should have control over the content in my campaign.. It should not be a situation where.. Now they have to create new accounts just to get around something that should be pretty straight forward. There should be an opt out or an ability to remove someone else's homebrewed collection from my campaign.

What would be a possible solution is usually never the most obvious or optimal, yet for the time being it’s really the only solution currently.
I would like to see a pulldown menu, or sub window, where the content of all accounts involved in a campaign that’s shared amongst the individuals is listed and can be toggled on or off by the GM.
but till such time as the ability is granted to allow for toggling of including content, GM’s ether have to put effort into clearly articulating what content is acceptable during play, or accept the idea that for a limited time they might have access to normally unavailable content.
Sure, a list of all of the content AND being able to see the individual's listed content shared with the ability to toggle them on and off would be optimal. But that is not what I am saying at all.
There should be a simple Opt Out Choice to remove someone else's homebrew collection from shared content or block all of their shared content from my campaign..
I own all of the content. I have no reason to ever need to have someone else's added to my campaign..

Since most people relate to analogies let's look at it as an analogy.
If I invite someone to come over to my house for dinner, but they show up with a bunch of people that I don't know. I should be able to remove them from my house without having an issue or a problem.. And I definitely shouldn't have them lingering in my house after i've tried to remove those who weren't invited in the first place, or ask them to change thier identity.
The thing IS.. with content sharing, there isn't even anything as far as a disclaimer that tells people. "If you enable your content sharing in this person's campaign, they are stuck with all of their homebrew collection from now until the end of time, or until they remove it from their own homebrew collection or you kick them out of your game"
Let's be clear, It's not their campaign they shouldn't have to know any of that ahead of time, I should have control over my campaign, And I shouldn't have to ask somebody to make an entirely new account to fix a problem that shouldn't have existed in the first place.. Or to rearrange their own "house before being invited over"
I am not the only person who has to deal with this issue with their games and campaigns.. And it's not a hard fix. It should be an opt out and everyone should have complete control over their campaigns. Especially if they're paying for premium tier memberships and content.
Sadly, till such time as we have the ability to fully control what content is available in publicly available campaigns, the solutions for limiting such additional content is well, limited.
As I had mentioned earlier, ether inform players what your content limitations are ( I.e. no personal homebrew allowed, only material that you personally approve ), or content blank accounts that are used for the sole purpose of insuring no homebrew is included.
Persons have been calling for content moderation in this matter for years, and it seems that this is a low priority matter.

"Blocking a source will hide compendium content to prevent players from reading it unless they own it. No options or content will be removed from other tools such as the character builder, character sheet, or encounter builder."
As a DM you only have the ability to turn off the compendium content, everything else is all or nothing including homebrew, (well homebrew can be a little once you got it you got it for life which is weird).
The other side of the coin is even with content sharing disabled there is nothing stopping a player that owns everything and happens to have some homebrew stuff from using it on their character without vetting each sheet.
While it may seem like an easy fix, it has been stated the developers had to make some choices early on that affect the difficulty of fixing things like this, couple that with WotC buying DDB a couple of years ago and it is unlikely theses thing will be fixed anytime soon if ever.

That is exactly what should happen.. If I OWN all of the material.. AND I want to Possibly include some homebrew stuff for my players that I CREATED OR ADDED then I should be able to.. Giving me control over what I have in my campaign.. Excluding anything that someone else has created.. This should not be a difficult fix to code, There is obviously a snippet of code somewhere that allows someone to share all of their official sources AND homebrewed Collection.. So it should be relatively easy, to add an exception to the code that requires a toggle choice on/off that should be available for anyone to keep control of the content that is added to their campaign..
But I definately shouldn't have to have all of their homebrew collection automatically added to my campaign.. Especially with no easy way to remove it.

I think a few people that worked on this site in the early days are still around, and I seem to remember reading a post or 3 about things that happened early on that prevents what appear to be easy fixes without breaking more important things. Yes, I can just kick them out of my group and campaign. I simply do not play with people that would do that, and they are removed from my game if they try. Not every table / game is for everyone, this broken feature is a non issue unless you play with people that want to intentionally break your game with homebrew creations.
I will add I only play in person games, and use oneshots to vet new players for longer adventures and campaigns whether I am the DM or a player.

I truly hope that you are a wrong about this. Because honestly they are opening themselves up for possible lawsuits or other legal actions.. See my post above.. This is not a coding choice for the system that can be ignored it is an exploitable bug. This needs to be fixed.
Ok. I hear exactly what you're saying. But the fact is some people don't know players immediately especially playing online. And even if you remove them from your game, it doesn't mean that you haven't been subjected to something that you should never have been subjected to in the first place.. There are plenty of underage players here on DndBeyond And I can almost hear the outrage of any parent who has the realization that this is not something that their children can easily be protected from? Because of lazy coding??
But all of that aside.. I as an adult would be outraged if I was subjected to that and I didn't have to be. Because it could be easily avoided by an opt out option.. That could be programmed very simply without breaking anything..
I can understand the frustration, but at the end of the day if a player tries to take something you don’t want to allow, tell them no. There are DMs who don’t allow some official content. If a player wants to take it you tell them no, or come up with a compromise.
DnDBeyond is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you might get. Find something offensive report it, or blacklist the offending person.
keep sending your concerns to whoever you feel might be able to help, but it’s been well over several years now that people have wanted a similar solution.
consider this, what if as GM of a campaign you have homebrew you want included, but no other persons’ homebrew to be included, how then would one be able to do so if the only ability is all homebrew is included or no homebrew is allowed at all?
simple slider of non personal homebrew exclusion is just as problematic as the example of unwanted offending content, unless a means of selective picking of whatever content a GM wants included in their game is designed and developed, GMs just have to be all the more invested in personally vetting players and what those players bring to the game.
Again I agree with you, but I am sure this has been discussed before and by some of the people that know why it is how it is, I am not one of them.
As for the online play with people you do not know I can see this being a bigger issue, and is one of many many reasons I do not play D&D online. I use digital tools, but it is players at the same physical table for me to play. I play with people that play online as well as in person and everyone of them has at least one horror story and few are the same type of horror. They found a way to make it work, and continue to play online, others tried a few games and stopped for various reasons, and some like me just said no from the get go.
There are a few members here that not only play online, do a lot of homebrew here too, you may post in the homebrew section or even the general with homebrew specific questions and I bet they would be glad to help you get rid of the shared homebrew you do not want.
As for the potential for lawsuits while you can sue anyone for just about anything I am curious what the suit would be for and how much merit it would have in open court? I am genuinely interested to hear about such a lawsuits potential. I personally am not one to sue anyone even if I should.

Oh there are several dozen different threads on this, and best I can remember is the coding is possible, but the time and effort involved is far more extensive than just simply having players create a blank account for the same affect of denial of unwanted content.
And sadly, it seems that the weight of insuring unwanted content that is involved falls upon the respective individual who is the presenter and coordinator of the respective game.
So homebrew for thee, but no homebrew for me? Yeah, I wouldn't play with you.
Now if a campaign player or DM came to me and said "mairondil, your homebrew spells are showing up when I save my cleric to PFD", I'd remove all the cleric, druid, and paladin homebrew spells from my collection since those are the classes to save all their spells in the PDF. In fact, I already practice this and automatically remove those spells from my collection after I've created them. But anything else? You can scroll past all the stuff that has a homebrew prefix on it or you can turn off homebrew.
If there was something in campaign management to turn off selected homebrews or homebrew creators entire collections. Fine. But there isn't a tool and I doubt there would be a tool until the entire backend is redone which I do not see Hasbro investing in something that won't have an immediate return on investment.
