Whatever is helpful to make combats faster is my friend! I noticed, that some players need a long time to roll up their weapon damage and that is so because they need to roll several damage types. Example: The ranger hits with a weapon attack and rolls a) weapon damage, then b) Hunters Mark damage, then c) colossus slayer bonus, then d) the d8 from his bardic friend´s insiration... you get the point.
Would´nt it be great, if one could customize macros so that one only has to click one damage button to roll all at once...? Of course, the outcome must be clustered by damage types (i.a. slashing damage, radiant damage, fire damage... what have not, all given separated for reference).
Yes! It's so annoying. But then the result also needs to specify what damage is which type. Classic example, hardly anything resist force damage but quite a lot resist necrotic damage.
Manually selecting the dice doesn't cut it. I would like a single button that rolls my chance to hit (including modifiers), rolls my damage (including modifiers) and shows the result by damage type(including magical or not bludgeoning etc)
