When I'm in my dnd beyond app I can access all of the books that my friends have shared with me but as soon as I get on the website I can't access any of them and they pop up showing for me to buy them. Also when I'm trying to create a new character for one of our campaigns we just started none of the share content is showing up in the character created. any help with this would be appreciated I'm not sure what's going on with it.

Is your character still in the sharing campaign? You only have access to the content as long as at least one character is still in there, and in the builder you only have access with the character(s) within, not across your full account.

Is your character still in the sharing campaign? You only have access to the content as long as at least one character is still in there, and in the builder you only have access with the character(s) within, not across your full account.
That content should still be visible elsewhere, just not useable elsewhere. Like, they should still be able to read the compendiums under the Sources tab, and still be able to view the content under the Rules tab. If they can’t then, as you suspect, they might not have a character in that campaign anymore: it might also be caused by something else. 🤷♂️

You might check two things:
Look at Your Campaigns and look at the info tile for the campaign with the shared content. Does it say that content sharing has been enabled for that campaign?
If content sharing is not active then whoever has the subscription has to reactivate it, if they cannot then their subscription may have lapsed and they need to resubscribe. If content sharing is active for that campaign but your entitlements are not in sync then sync them. If sharing is active and entitlements are in sync then you may need to use the links no to the support portal down at the bottom of the page and submit a support ticket. 👇Support is really, really backed up currently because of the 5e24 drop, so it might unfortunately take more than 3 weeks to get to your ticket. Be patient and whatever you do, DON’T submit another ticket, that will just knock your original ticket back to the bottom of the list again, so be patient. If you follow the above link 👆 to your campaigns and don’t see that campaign listed, then double check that you are logged into the same account on the web as you are on the app. It is very easy to accidentally make an alternate account and not even realize it until something like this comes up. If that’s the case, log out and then log back in using each of the different methods (Wizards, Apple, Google, etc.) until you find the correct account. Pat close attention and make sure that if apple or google offers you the option to “hide my email” down at the bottom of the login screen that you DO NOT USE IT. That may have been how an alternate account got created for you in the first place.
If none of that applies to you, then file a support ticket and post here again.
