Not sure if this has been brought up or not but i really wish there was a way to hide the curse aspect of a magic item until a player attunes to it. that way if i present an item to the players as a DM, they don't know its cursed till they decide to attune to it.
This seems like something that would be difficult for Beyond to implement because it would involve creating and maintaining alternate descriptions of all cursed items. Instead, I recommend substituting a different item of similar power, until they have attuned. Or, you could create a homebrew item to reflect the description you want them to see. That way the customization is democratized across all users and you only need to deal with this as each situation arises (as opposed to Beyond having to constantly be on top of all item descriptions). What do you think?
Dndbeyond will fail if they try to incorporate VTT. I really hope they aren't focusing a lot of resources toward this. They should stick to encounter building and encounter running at most. I can't imagine the digital dice were the moneymaker they thought they might be either.
The encounter builder, the combat tracker, and the dice roller are all parts that will eventually become a virtual game space.

Digital content is sticky. There is no reason to think that Beyond absolutely has to have a VTT in order to retain their customer base. However, to attract new customers because they have a VTT would require them to become a leader in VTT and that will not be easy. They will lose customers if they give up their place as a leader in digital content management because they have spent all their resources building something they could not win at. A lot of business strategy is knowing who you are and importantly, who you are not; i.e. who you are not likely to become even if there is market for that because your competition is starting from a different place, closer to those (in this case VTT) customers in that market segment. Also, post pandemic a lot of us will go back to table top gaming where the tools you mentioned are equally valuable at a real table top. It is not inevitable that these tools will end up in a VTT environment or, that they need to. It is not clear that the Beyond team developers are VTT experts. What they do have is an intimate knowledge of the content system that they built and this is what they should be leveraging and leaving the VTT layer to those who are experts at that. Build the middleware, not the table top would be my suggestion.
I know my gaming group would get far more use out of a simple, quick-and-easy treasure generator than a VTT (we don't touch those things, and DDB introducing one wouldn't change that.)
Select the monsters and/or environment involved; choose whether gemstones, coins, magic items, scrolls, potions and/or artwork are included; pick the tier and whether it's individual monster or boss treasure; and finally press "GENERATE." An instant list of goodies to hand out to your party.
Open Sourcing
I get the distinct impression DDB wants to jealously guard what it creates, and that's understandable, but there's something to be said for going partially open source, even with their business model. DDB's real strength is their legal access to the official material; just keep that in the database, and it would stymie most copycats. I know I'd eventually contribute quite a bit of coding to any open source tools they began working on (especially if it meant I could identify and fix bugs myself.)
A DM "home screen" of sorts for them to have up when not in an encounter. It would include things like the game log, the ability to roll, and the ability to search in the various lists (like inventory, extras, spells, to quickly reference information.
Pretty much what I would love is a page that I would be on for most of the game where I can pull up important info (like wild shape stats or a monster's info), roll dice, see my player's rolls, and enter encounters when necessary, in addition to whatever features a DM may wish to add (It could be like a template where you can include or remove various windows and features)
Dndbeyond will fail if they try to incorporate VTT. I really hope they aren't focusing a lot of resources toward this. They should stick to encounter building and encounter running at most. I can't imagine the digital dice were the moneymaker they thought they might be either.

No one said they are spending "All of their resources". The developers and managers always say that their utmost responsibility is to support the base content, the books that WotC put out, and the simplest easiest way to play. Everything beyond is just extra.
I would like to see something in the combat tracker that will signify when a player has held a phase or an action so that they don't get missed in the middle of the fight. You can note when a PC is injured or afflicted in some way so why not the option to signify a hold or a hidden or something of the like.

It is inevitable that significant resources would be drained into the VTT effort at the expense of other features. I am not suggesting that books will be a problem. Conversion of source to digital is bread and butter for Beyond. Where the drain will (and already has) hit us will be in other features, like the digital DM screen / dashboard, campaign management, containers, treasure generator and other great ideas that have recently been mentioned above.
Request to customize (and override) class feature description as well a the name. Currently only the class feature name is customizable, the other text appears only as a note in the pop-up, leaving an inappropriate description on the character sheet that doesn't match the overridden class feature name.
Request to allow bonus Feats to be added to characters, regardless of class progression.
You can already do this via the character sheet.
On your sheet, go to the Features & Traits tab. At the bottom, you'll see "Manage Feats." Click that, and you can add a Feat of your choosing to the character.
When rolling on screen dice if you have multiple spell damage stacking, like hex/ hunters mark or spirit shroud for example then crit of a hit, if you click each damage die then roll them simultaneously. As currently they roll double damage on the immediate attack roll you completed, neglecting additional die that should be added. To clarify:
Currently; Hex active on a target, Nat 20 with a short sword = 2d6(crit)+1d6(hex).
I'd love to see the various Artisan Supplies have actual descriptions. DnDBeyond's Description of Alchemist supplies is:
These special tools include the items needed to pursue a craft or trade. Proficiency with a set of artisan's tools lets you add your proficiency bonus to any ability checks you make using the tools in your craft. Each type of artisan's tools requires a separate proficiency.
Alchemist's supplies enable a character to produce useful concoctions, such as acid or alchemist's fire.
Components.
Alchemist's supplies include two glass beakers, a metal frame to hold a beaker in place over an open flame, a glass stirring rod, a small mortar and pestle, and a pouch of common alchemical ingredients, including salt, powdered iron, and purified water.
Arcana.
Proficiency with alchemist's supplies allows you to unlock more information on Arcana checks involving potions and similar materials.
Investigation.
When you inspect an area for clues, proficiency with alchemist's supplies grants additional insight into any chemicals or other substances that might have been used in the area.
Alchemical Crafting.
You can use this tool proficiency to create alchemical items. A character can spend money to collect raw materials, which weigh 1 pound for every 50 gp spent. The DM can allow a character to make a check using the indicated skill with advantage. As part of a long rest, you can use alchemist's supplies to make one dose of acid, alchemist's fire, antitoxin, oil, perfume, or soap. Subtract half the value of the created item from the total gp worth of raw materials you are carrying.

DnDBeyond is supposed to be the one-stop shop for everything, no? Then why, if i have proficiency with a certain tool, a certain game, etc. I can't find out anything at all about it unless i go to google then? Seems like a large missed oppurtunity, no?

What you see there is content from Xanathar's Guide to Everything. Firstly, it's optional rules and not compulsory. Secondly, it's additional and not available in the SRD or PHB.

Please add ultra-wide monitor support with better menu layouts, there's so much wasted real estate on my screen... I feel like I'm looking at an iPad in the middle of my monitor, it's kind of dumb.

The ability to give ‘Thanks’, and see them would be a excellent addition to the DDB Mobile version.
Mystic v3 should be official, nuff said.

Hello there monkmulticlasser,
You should™ be able to give and see thanks on mobile, as long as your device is capable of (and in) landscape orientation.

Nope, it’s not working ( not trying to sound passive-aggressive. ), but thanks for the input :)

This exact information is contained within Chapter 2: Dungeon Master's Tools of Xanathar's Guide to Everything. Due to the fact that it is included as supplemental material in that sourcebook, and not part of the Basic Rules equipment, D&D Beyond cannot automatically add this information into the standard alchemist's supplies.
Furthermore, any website that is hosting that information for free is doing so illegally.
