Right now we can customize a lot on character sheets. We can customize items, actions, proficiencies, and spell names.
Can we customize everything?
For example, I want to allow one of my players to use some features from the UA Revised Ranger. I would love to be able to tap on the Natural Explorer snippet and edit the text of it.
Another example, I want to grant one of my players a bonus spell slot. I would love to be able to tap on "Spell Slots" and customize the number of spells slots.
Or even add custom spells like I can add custom languages and proficiencies. It would make things a lot easier.
Changing spellcasting abilities would be nice, too.

You can do most of those things with homebrew (including changing spellcasting ability).
Homebrew base classes are planned.
I'm not sure about messing with spell slots, but maybe. You can make a homebrew with charges and use the charges as spell slots.
Currently you cannot change additional class functions, so no alterations or homebrew for eldritch invocations, fighting styles, etc.
Published Subclasses
I just would like to be able to edit them on the fly for a single character in-sheet.
I know.
