Are we going to be able to use content from other books in D&D Beyond? I like what I've seen in my first impression, but if I have to type in all that, well, it's frustrating.
EDIT: Based on a comment made on Reddit by a member of the Beyond team last week, I'm lead to understand that content beyond the SRD will be available for purchase the way you get it for roll20 or Fantasy Grounds. I realize this may irritate people, but I'm fine with it personally.
At launch, players will be able to access SRD content and build and view a small number of characters with a free D&D Beyond account. We don’t have exact pricing nailed down, but you will also be able to buy official digital D&D content for all fifth edition products with flexible purchase options. You can pay only for the D&D content you need. If you only play fighters, for example, you’ll be able to just pick up the stuff you need to track swinging that giant two-handed sword. This is NOT a microtransaction model - we aren't forcing anyone to buy the content in small chunks - it can still be bought all at once. It's all just flexibility.
Also, I have two different worlds I run, it would be nice if I could filter content between the two. Thanks!
I don't know about the UA stuff since it's all playtest, but the things in SCAG, VGTM and the different adventures would be nice to have.
I imagine sticking UA in it's own tab would be pretty easy and would definitely be a nice addition for those of us who play with the test stuff a lot. My first desire would be the canon books though, my party uses so much SCAG stuff we can't get along without it.

I get your point and agree :) Not only SCAG stuff but like "Hex" which is not part of the SDR. So things outside SDR are pretty important.

Came here to ask the same thing. I assume that SCAG and Volo's Guide and all of that stuff will eventually be added?
I saw that there is a "coming soon" button for Homebrew, would be great if that would include the UA playtest stuff as well.
Was about to ask the same question.
A lot of spells, items, monsters etc. do not figure in the SDR.
What are the plans for those things?
Still this is amazing.

Same question. It looks like the icon for "Aberration" under Monsters is a Beholder but there is no such monster listed.
I am also interested in the other AGs with potentially the option of UA.
This is a damn nice start. I'll be using it for our forthcoming campaigns.
